As an aerial arts student at the Detroit Flyhouse, I routinely get to see the Detroit Circus performers who also teach, perform the trapeze, lyra, and silks moves we are learning in class. This alone is so amazing. But it wasn't until I was able to see one of their true performances - in costume - that I fully appreciated what a talented, passionate, and amazing group the Detroit Circus is! Each performer is so unique and brings a special talent to the show. Sara is pure beauty on the aerial silks, and is always choreographing a new move, Kourtney turns her unbelievable strength into striking poses, and Shawn exudes joy from her stilts and has an extra special touch with children. Anthony's balancing and juggling act is simply unbelievable -- and what a treat when Veronica joins him for unmatched acrobatic tricks! And then there's the two Brittanys -- unstoppable, young energy with tricks on the lyra and silks! So fun to watch. But I saved the best for last -- Matt; who I could sit and watch forever. A true artist that never stops developing and sharing his craft and passion!
