Diamond Cuts sound was friendly,tight sounding, and fabulous. Everybody danced and had a great time. This band likes to play!

Diamond Kut in my opinion is the top old school R&b band around! The vocals are amazing and the band have that good old funky sound you want for classic R&b songs. I seen a review about them doing some Motown stuff and I almost didn't go with them because I'm not a big Motown person but decided to get a quote anyways and they sent me this link that has some music from their CD and I was blown away! Go check it out! https://soundcloud.com/diamond-kut Lastly, what I also like about this band is they will give you their quote and if that is out of your range they will also give quotes to a couple other bands and a link to their website so that you can hear their music as well! One of those bands were the younger R&b band called Blu Pi. They are great and do some of the more up to date R&b like Chris Brown and Bruno Mars and I just hired them to do my daughter's Birthday party so it was a win, win for me. Thank you Diamond Kut!

My parents grew up in Detroit, MI so Motown music is in their blood lol For there 40th anniversary party we wanted to do something special and decided to hire a Motown band to perform at the celebration. After searching all over on Gig Salad, our final decision was Diamond Kut, not just because they are excellent musicians and singers but because they really care about customer service. They were by far the the must organized and professional band I've ever seen. They were so helpful and flexible. They even help me plan out the event by giving me some helpful ideas. The performance was incredible and it brought tears to my dad's eyes when they performed the old time classic song "My Girl" Im so glad i went with Diamond Kut! Thank you all so much!!!

Diamond Kut originally was called The Black Ice Band, and just the mention of their name would bring in big crowds. Recently, the band discovered other bands using their name for gain and the decision was made to change their name and their style. The band went to Universal Sound who is one of Ohio's top promotional agencies who provided them with an Band Manager, agent and other things to give the band a more modern look and sound.
The band brought on a new drummer with plans to add a female vocalist as well, fall of 2015. After going to the studio and many photo shoots the band was able to drop some new cover songs while keeping the deep funk and smooth sound they have always been known for.
