Tiki was great! He came when he said he would come, set up was very quick and he even had a projector so others could see what was being drawn. They were pretty quick and very fun! The quality of print out was good too! If you are looking to have something a little different at your party then digitoons is a great option!
I hired Tiki for the caricature during the cocktail hour for my wedding and Tiki was very talented, kind and quick. I've seen his work before so that is why I decided to hire DigiToons Hawaii. So I figured since it was going to be pretty hectic I had my son have his photo done first and it was even more awesome then I had remembered! I mean his talent and quality of his artwork was just WOW! So as I expected he was busy non stop from start to finish of the party which was from 5-10:30pm give or take a few minutes! Not only the children enjoyed it but the adults as well had their portrait drawn. Would definitely recommend his service to anyone looking for entertainment for their party! I can guarantee you he will have your guests talking about that party for a long time!
I've seen and have been in three birthday parties that Tiki/Facenook was drawing prior to my daughter's party. He's done an amazing job from my personal experience(s), seeing & watching him make all the kids excited & happy! He's a great guy too, very easy to do business with! The only thing that was disappointing was not being able to have him longer... (many of my adult-guests would've loved to be able to have their drawings done too!) but needless to say, (even though it may be a little too pricy for some)his talent & work was worth every happy kids smile!!! I'd definitely hire him again!
During the party, I heard someone said "Someone is doing a cartoon like drawing but this time was in digital!" I thought to myself "Huh?" I asked myself because most of the time when I went to parties and have caricatures being done, it was done by hand, traditionally using some ink, paper, and an easel.
Anyways, I like this kind of idea and his work amazes me! Every drawing I saw through the projector, I was never disappointed. When some people passed by the drawer, they see his work and make good comments as they passed by. I have his business card, went to his website, and have it bookmarked.
When such events happens in the future, I'll definitely think about Face-nook! (^_^)
We hired Tiki to work my daughters' 1st birthday party and we were extremely happy with his service. We received raving comments from our guests and majority of them have never seen his work before. His work was worth every penny we spent on him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caricature for any occasion. He has done work for me during project graduation season in 2010 and we are hiring him again for the 2011 season.

I hired Tiki to draw a caricature as a gift for my husband for his retirement from the military. Tiki was extremely easy to work with and responded to my emails right away. He captured the essence of what retirement will mean for us, produced excellent likenesses of us both, and went out of his way to get the portrait to me in time for my husband's ceremony (where it was displayed during the reception). I was impressed by his imagination and williness to go the extra mile to get everything perfect. The colors were brillant! Family and guests were impressed, but best of all my husband was surprised, very touched, and really happy to receive this gift. I also bought the dark wood frame and was pleased that it was really a nice, quality frame and complimented the caricature. Couldn't be happier with the entire process and I would recommend this exceptional and talented artist to anyone.

Tiki was extremely easy to work with and did an awesome job of entertaining our guest with his projected color caricatures. Our guest enjoyed his interactions and his artwork! We were very happy with his services and would highly recommend Tiki for any other party or event. He personalized the backgrounds to match our son's event, updated his picture after seeing him in person, and went above and beyond by meeting up with us to give us additional pictures he did of our family after the event was over. I draw the cartoon version of your guests. It is a fairly quick sketch, in about 5 min. with color. I try to capture those little individual characteristics that make each person unique. Some it's the quirky smile, others the bella-donna eyes. Perhaps the curly mop hair. Or whatever they happen to be doing when they sit down. It is a bit flattering, as I don't draw all the warts, just a simple line drawing, as if a model for an animated show.
