Diva Montalto, the daughter of an opera singer and Chicago entertainer Freddie Montell, began singing at age six, studied in vocal performance at DePaul University and the American Conservatory of Music, with an emphasis in opera. Diva’s diversity spreads from opera to pop. One of the best soprano’s you will ever hear.
Jeorge Holmes has a great history of music in his family. His father was a professional singer and made sure Jeorge listened to the best; Caruso, Lanza, Pavarotti, Sinatra, Bennett, Cole, Presley and many more. He does tributes to Sinatra, Presley and Pavarotti, along with the music of Cole, Joel, Groban, Clampton and others. His golden tenor voice will touch your soul.
Professional, classy and the most beautiful voice. Perfect!!
Response from Diva Montell - Jeorge Holmes:
Oh thank you Beth,
What an exciting event that was. I was honored to have been invited to sing!
Best Wishes,
Diva
We had a rather unusual request for Jeorge Holmes to help celebrate a 40th-birthday gal. We wanted him to show up under the Cadillac Palace Marquee in Chicago where Les Miserables was playing and to sing a tune to the b'day gal from the musical. (Les Mis is one of her favs, and she would be coming to the theater as a surprise, not knowing the event that was about to unfold there.) Not only did Jeorge sing the song beautifully (and a cappella!), he was impeccably dressed in a costume to suit the play, including a fabulous hat complete with the perfect plume! I could not have asked for a more perfect presentation. And what a complete gentleman! If you're looking for a lovely musical addition to your next event, definitely give the nod to Jeorge. You will not be disappointed!
Response from Diva Montell - Jeorge Holmes:
David - Thanks so much for your review and also including me in your incredible birthday for your wife - what a family you have. If you have any pictures or videos worth sending to me - jeorge.g.holmes@gmail.com - fire away. Sincerely, Jeorge
Jeorge was outstanding. We'll have him back again next year. He received a well deserved standing ovation. A real pro.
Just loved how they personalize every performance, making it seem like they are singing just for you and your table-mates. Love their mix of songs and the fact that it is a combination of solos and duets. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon...
How can anyone not recognize the superior talent in the performance of these two Maestros of Classical Music and Opera. Their voices are proportionately matched in intonation, vocal range and presentation of their art. It is art in the strictest sense of the word; it is not just another stage show by average singers. We have here two dynamic vocalists who deliver to their audiences performances that are full of style, grace, beauty and love; with a fullness that is as rich as twenty-four caret gold with a diamond touch of humor. The spiritual light projected from the stage is blinding as each performer shines, yet not at the expense of the other. The musical selection is masterful as it accentuates the forte of each voice. The solos are not to be secondary to the duets. The solos are those of Operatic Masters. I give Diva Montell and Jeorge Holmes a hearty, "BRAVO",for their performance and their effort to put forth a quality piece of true art in music.

Diva Montell, a Chicagoland classical singer, has a beautiful, outstanding voice. Her performance was one of the best I've ever heard !
I've attended two affairs where Diva has displayed her great singing styles. She uplifts your spirit with her opera and classical songs. Likewise, when she sings R&B or jazz, her music soothes the mind and soul. I was truly thrilled by her performances!
Diva sang at my uncle's 80th birthday party. She sang classical songs and crowd favorites and made the event very special and classy. For some songs, she was the background music and conversation carried on, for others everyone stopped and listened, for still others people were inspired to dance. She is also very personable and loves whatshe does.
Diva is mesmerizing! She is beautiful...on the outside and the inside! With each song, Diva takes you on a journey..sometimes playful, sensual, serious, jazzy, "jump up and dance"...She is an entertainer that feels the music with her soul and shares herself with her audience. You become one with Diva. I especially love her Opera voice...If you haven't heard she and George...you must...the experience will enchant you forever. Another unforgettable memory was when Diva was asked to sing at a good friend's father's funeral. It was exceptional, beautiful and an everlasting tribute to a great man!
Diva is an extraordinarily gifted performer with a wide range of musical expressions. She connects with her audience and makes everyone feel welcome. She is warm and personable before the show and shares her love of music through every note. She has a very talented band who adapt flawlessly to every genera of music. Many of the songs are original compositions, and then she pulls up old favorites and gets everyone out on the floor. Living in California, I am looking forward to hearing Diva the next time I am in the Chicago area and until then I get to enjoy her CD.
For me, this is my most favorite Diva. In the classics, all her grace, beauty and charm resonate with her voice in astounding performances. I hope that this is her favorite mode to present her gift to all of us. It certainly is mine! For it is truly a gift to be able to lift and change a stranger's attitudes and impressions, cutting right to the person's soul with such a magnificent voice. After...all you can say is, "What a voice, what a gift! I am not the same as I was before this grace has been delivered to me in such a beautiful presence."

I try to see as many of Diva's performances as I can for I am not bored to hear her sing. Diva Montell has one of the truly great voices in the United States. She wants to belong to everyone, but her home is here in the Chicago area. She has been standing in the entertainment shadows for awhile, but now she steps forward into the light to sing for you Opera and the "classical" songs that are your favorites. Diva sings with a voice that commands presence and attention by all who hear her. She sings with power, yet redeeming grace, she sings with a tremendous range, yet she can sing the most delicate of songs like an angel from heaven. She will be remembered as one of the truly great voices of our time. You can listen to her on YouTube, but come and see her in a live performance. You will never be disappointed and you will forever be changed by her magnificent voice and personality.

We bring our own sound system, labtops and professional tracks to sing with. We would need a table (4x8), two chairs and a place to set up a promo table for CD sales.
If live band is involved, then we would need to know the size of the venue and then determine what we need to bring for the most effective performance setting.
