I DJ as a passion, I taught dance for many years so music has always been an active part of my life. I love it, I love sharing music with people, and I love that a song can change the entire direction of a situation. When I work with people, I focus on what will make their event magical for them. Anybody can list a bunch of equipment and babble on about technology, but I think what makes a DJ special is making the people you are playing for and to feel special. When I show up at an event Im prepared to do what ever it takes to keep my client happy, and as stress free as I can!!! I have worked in some form of the service industry all my life, but DJing is all about bringing the fun!
DJ Bee provided great service during our private Valentine's Party, she checked with us the type of music / songs that we would like to play, and has a wide repertoire of music, including Zumba and party line dancing. and karaoke. She even led a couple of Zumba dances. Awesome service, and she even dressed according to our Red & Pink theme... Our guests and we are really happy with DJ Bee!
DJ Bee working my daughter's birthday party yesterday and she was a dream! So enthusiastic, great at communicating pre-party, and the kids and adults loved her! DJ Kiki D & Mama J are great DJ's They are very engaging with the crowd and were able to provide the music requested plus more. They also provided group dances as well. Comes well prepared and dressed in theme of party. Would most differently use them again and again...

I like to plan ahead and get those special details that make it a personal occasion. For private parties I like to know what the theme will be and prepare accordingly. I like to get genera ideas if the client would like specific things. And make suggestions based upon that.
For events I like to go see where it will be so I can prepare for the sound and where I need to set up. Its helpful if the business will allow me to set up early to make sure everything is ready to go when they want it to be.
For weddings I meet with the clients as needed to develop their concept of how the special day will flow.
When its time to perform..and thats how I think of it, Im ready. I come prepared for whatever the client or planner has requested. Im punctual and stay over if needed...sometimes the party goes long;-). I believe my component is a part of a team based on a successful outcome.
I have been in love with music...since always. I teach many types of dance so learned early, beats and rhythms. My daughter became a dj in her early 20s, and she shared her passion with me, and taught me the tricks of the trade. I make an individual playlist for each event based on the event needs, and client request. I make every effort to provide the music myself unless its obscure and cant be found through normal means. If your plugging into my system for any reason I need to know in advance.
I'm moved by many kinds of music. Some of my gigs the age range is children to seniors. I love digging around and finding those songs that make say " ohhhhh I remember that song!" Or having someone who is young go bananas for Chuck Berry.
I need to know if its indoors or outside. I need to be able to run electricity. How large the venue is ie square foot for sound.
If your event is outdoors or on a ship/boat or exposing my equipment you must provide adequate coverage from elements. I can provide a 10 x 10 pop up at an additional charge
