Mr. Kelvin M. McClendon aka "DJ MAQ " - Musician, producer, songwriter, concert promoter and DJ/MC for over 30 years. Promoting a wide variety of the Hip Hop and R&B concerts in multiple venues throughout the South, during the late 80's and early 90's. With my indepth music background, I excel in many genres and can cover a wide variety of music for any occassion or event. I have a very experience staff that I work with to make sure we are not lacking in whatever we undertake. We are experienced professionals that can help make your event a super success.

The "friends" portion of DJ Maq and friends is group of people I have worked with for many years. They include DJ's, sound engineers, lighting professionals and event planners. Whenever or whatever you need done we can assist and because of our friends network we can actually do 3 or more events at once.

Everyday can be grind for most people, so when it's time to let your hair down...you can expect nothing less than the best. We specialize in letting you escape through having a good time. We bring state of the art equipment that will let you hear every note and feel the bass. No Albums or CD's - all music is digitally recorded for clarity and your listening pleasure. We have the capacity to play for 20 people or a crowd of 1000 . We can also provide lighting for a nominal additional cost.

Our goal is to be the missing piece to your party or event, we can set the mood, we can bring the, "Feel Good" and "Life" to the party or your event. We welcome the opportunity to work with you or your event planner to take one concern off your list, "The Music".

Parties and Events are priced based on location, length of the event and number guest to be present. We stay flexible so there are no surprises or misunderstandings. Discounts apply to repeat clients. We have special pricing for holiday celebrations or seasonal events. Please take time to contact us and let's discuss your needs.

We use updated state of the art digital equipment. No CD's, Cassettes or Albums...everything is compact and computerized for our laptop. We are capable of producing a mellow 200 watts or pushing (phone number hidden)0 watts of clear unadulterated sound. We also offer a PA system with cordless mics, if needed for announcements by the host.

Our job is to keep the function alive and going...no stalls or dead air...just music, music, music!
