Funk That Noize is today’s noise for the “Nu Funk” era. You will be taken for the ride of your life through time and space. We will stop at different time periods and various music genres along the way to keep your body moving and grooving. On this journey you will be offered the very best of all musical worlds throughout many walks of life until we touch down back to the modern electronic dance music scene.

Funk That Noize, (AKA) DJ Stevie. P, Creates original tracks inspired by some of his favorite artists. This special group of producers includes Dada Life, Dirtyloud, Far Too Loud, Diplo, Justice, Figure and Zomboy, just to name a few. FTN incorporates a very diverse selection of unique tracks, carefully hand-picked and mixed in a very specific order to create an interesting and exciting, pulsating live experience. Whether he feels the need to uplift the crowd with heavy “bangers” or step it down a notch by using more tranquil, slower tempo ambient sounds, FTN controls his audience with a blend of careful sophistication and impressive intuition. If ever found in a sudden disaster case scenario, FTN always has his music backed up and is always readily prepared for any hiccup. With the recent unexpected passing of his “little” brother, Greg at the beginning of January from pneumonia, plus the passing of his “big” brother, Mike who committed suicide several years ago, Music has been the one true area providing comfort & serenity for FTN. He works hard every day to make a name for himself, knowing that his brothers are with him and close to his heart everywhere that he goes. He is motivated by their unending support and love.

During the first few years of his life he spent living in West Covina, Ca, it was not long after his whole family decided to move to the sunny OC where he would stay to fall in love, make new friends and settle in just enough time to call his true home. Steve decided that he wanted to be a musician when he was a little boy. Being inspired by other musicians led him to believe that anything is possible and if you put in the hours and hours of hard work and dedication by applying yourself then you can pretty much take yourself anywhere you want !
