Lots of Fun and the urge to dance
Doc’s Holiday is a quartet formed in the lower populated country towns of California’s Southern Central Valley. We are an often up-tempo acoustic band, sometimes dark sometimes goofy, with roots in country swing bluegrass mixed in with progressions and styles of modern indie and at times labeled as “Americana” or “Californya Blugrass”; but we are really just trying to get the girls to smile, the guys to drink, and the lot of them to dance. Our main goal is to find dirt-covered dance floors in dives around the nation where people gather to shake their workweek away and make that dirt fly. We can also be found right at home playing our full set on street corners around our state. Our album is just around the corner and our shows are just now getting booked so make sure you come to experience a “Doc’s Holiday” for yourself and leave the worry’s, bad times, regrets, and sobriety at home!
