Drummer for hire. Originally from Minneapolis, Angie was in the house band at Palmer's Bar every Sunday night until she moved to New Orleans in February 2017. She has performed at venues such as the Dakota Jazz Club, Vieux Carre, Honey, the Pour House, 331 and more. Her primary band in Minneapolis was Miss Myra & the Moonshiners.
In New Orleans, Angie is the drummer for Spider Murphy's Fatback Vipers. They perform Thursdays and Fridays at Mahogany Jazz Hall, and Sundays at the Tasting Room. She has performed at many private events and other venues in Louisiana.
Angie's drumming style is unrefined yet sophisticated, ballsy while brazenly feminine.
Dolly has a unique sound and style. She is also entertaining and funny.
If she returns to Minnesota I will definitely come watch her shows.
