Donna Elise Scott is a versatile, sultry, contralto, and an award winning GRAMMY recognized jazz singer who also does a bit of blues, R&B, pop and even country. Donna has performed as a featured soloist and band leader in local and global jazz festivals, venues and private events. Whether it’s NYC, Chicago, Denver, Houston, LA, Santa Fe, or Detroit, critic describe her shows as a vocal treat! A native Chicagoan who now now lives in Houston, she has wowed audiences wherever she performs. She has two CD’s Somehow I Knew (2015) and Carnival (2017). Her third album “A Carpenter from Chicago will be released in Spring 2020. She has a MA in Vocal Jazz Performance and a BA in Music.
What an event Donna was awesome and sang her heart out. My favorite was Sade songs. I had no idea how this would work for dr poindexter while patients were sitting in the chair.
