The team did a great job setting up food and drinks for our event, keeping everything in order during it, taking care of spills, and then doing a full clean-up afterwards. They did exactly what we wanted, but had the wisdom and experience to know better than we did how to set things up. Highly recommended!

Alicia and Edith were terrific! Arrived on time and IMMEDIATELY dove into helping with our event setup with anything that was required. They helped unload items from our cars without being asked. When the food was delivered, they helped with the arrangement and subsequently helped serve, without having to be asked. They made sure the food and drinks were always available, replenishing as needed. Clean up was undertaken without question, unobtrusively, and without requiring instruction.
From the start, we did not have a clear idea of how they could help us. Alicia and Edith took the initiative and helped with EVERYTHING! They worked continuously and completely, and were so pleasant and kind. They helped make sure everything went smoothly and insured that our event was a wonderful and worry-free event!

I wasn't there in the beginning I asked if he could come early he said yes. It my first time booking s wait staff person. He knew what to do when I wasn't there. He was very respectful. I would book again
Wonderful people -- friendly, efficient , took the ball in their own hands and did not stop running till the end five hours later.
The staff was great. We had a team of 5 working closely with my MIL during our wedding. She had nothing but wonderful things to say. They helped her with the serving of food, picking up plates and washing dishes. They were willing to help with the busy tasks we had to do on during our reception. Some servers appeared young but were professional. Bobbi and her team did great. If and when we ever have another big event we would love to have them help us out!
They made my life easier that day. I’m all about budgeting but not having family have to worry about keeping tables clean throughout the night is nice because they got to enjoy the day. Thank you ladies for your help! You were awesome
They where so helpful and nice. I'm so greatful and thankful for everything they did
They just weren’t super unconscious of how important their role was and they just seemed like they weren’t thinking of the next step. They had to be told everything to do and I think I’m just used to working with people who know their role and responsibility and just let their customer service mind drive. Some examples: they showed up and none of the tables were set so I asked them to get started on that right away because guests were expected in 30 min. There wasn’t really a sense of urgency and to me that kinda set the tone.
On the second course of salad I realized none of the tables had their water carafes filled so I carried some back and asked them to bring them all back and fill them. One woman started stuffing them with ice and I told her instead to focus on filling them and getting them out since it’s second course and people still don’t have water, next round they can do ice but right now priority is just water so keep it moving.
Tables started getting full of empty beer bottles and cans. Again, I had to ask them to go around and clear empties and just started doing that myself because they weren’t really doing it and it started looking messy/overcrowded on the tables.
I could kinda go on with little examples like that...
I think they just needed a lot of direction.
One of them got irritated with the bartender at the end of the night because she asked for help clearing the glassware and reracking it and she said that wasn’t her job, matter of fact that isn’t their job. they seemed overwhelmed and not helpful on a very important night.
All and all really nice people but I think they need more training to be really effective.
I also had many tableware missing and broken from how they were put back by the waitstaff which I will now have to pay the rental company $300 to cover the damage.
I needed 3 servers for food prep & display, cleanup, and an oyster shucker for a party with about 80 guests. I specifically requested servers that would be be able to arrange platters of food, that would look beautiful and appetizing. I was also told that they had an experienced oyster shucker that could work my party. The team I got were very nice, on time, and polite, but clearly had no experience with the skills requested. My husband had to teach the oyster shucker what to do. Several items I bought for the party never got put out. Very disappointing!
These guys were great! They handled everything for my wedding, from bartending, to serving, to cake cutting! We even had some schedule changes that they were quick to accommodate! Thank you guys!!
The 4 ladies who came in to help did an amazing job! Very respectful, always asking questions and just on que with every task. The whole event ran smoothly and clean up time was fast. A big Thank you for making cake time run smoothly. Every guest was asked before a slice of cake was dropped off which I thought was just wonderful. Once again thank you! I would definitely use this service again and would recommend!

The waitstaff at our wedding were professional , on time for the event and a lot of fun to have working at the wedding. Great service!
I had a large party for 50 people in my home in early June, and had booked help through "Don't Wait Staff Ready" to arrive at 2pm. No one showed up at 2pm and no one answered the contact phone number despite multiple calls. When I messaged them through Gigsalad, I was told that they had contacted the staff who had had an accident en route to my event (which sounded a bit suspicious; if the accident was too serious for the wait staff to contact the company, then why was the company able to reach them right away). The company never bothered to confirm my help had arrived and the help never bothered to inform the company they couldn't make it (due to the accident or whatever the reason was that they didn't show up). So I was left to tend to my own large party on my own. I had even booked this service for another event a few weeks later which I found another service to provide.
The company did apologize and state this had never happened before. They also offered to staff my later event for free, but never followed up with my inquiry about it so I declined this offer. They did refund my money for both events with the help of the Gigsalad staff. But given the no-show, inability to reach them at their contact number, and lack of verification that my help had arrived yields one star service in my book. I would not use them again.
The waitstaff were great and very accommodating. They were willing to jump in quickly and do everything that I asked of them. I found them to be capable, professional and easy to work with. They were a bit late in arriving (we do have a fairly remote site to find) but made up by staying an extra amount of time at the end of the evening to make up for things. They did an excellent job cleaning up and working independently. Thank you!
We hired three servers and two bartenders for our wedding. They were very responsive and accommodating to our requests before the event even happened. The day of they arrived on time, even provided plenty of ice for our beverages. Setup was very smooth, they were professional and knew what they were doing. As the night went on I had multiple people come up to be and say how friendly the staff was! Not only were they working hard, but they were kind and chatty with our guests. The bartenders especially looked like they were having a good time! After the event was over they helped clean up the entire party, and really fast! They even loaded my parents cars with stuff, without even being asked! I couldn't recommend them more. Price was very reasonable and the service was outstanding.
Ramon and his staff stepped into a very logistically difficult event and really rolled with it. I have already booked them for another event in May!

What I loved most about the bartenders were how proactive they were from the moment they got onsite. Even though I was distracted with other elements of the event, they went straight to work setting up with very little direction from me. They were professional yet friendly and helpful. At one point I saw one of the bartenders holding one of our guests' baby while the mother needed her hands. It was a very heartwarming sight and I appreciate the bartender going above and beyond to make our guests feel comfortable. I'd recommend them for any event.
Big shout out to Terry, the bartender that we booked last minute. She was very helpful, professional, and went the extra mile to help us break down the event afterwards. The only issue was that we'd requested a 4:30pm arrival time, but she arrived closer to 5pm which when the event begins. However she was nothing short of amazing throughout. Would definitely book the service again.
Don't Wait Staff Ready helped me plan my wedding from another state. I'm from the Bay Area but live in Minnesota now and did all the planning from there. We never even talked on the phone! Bobby corresponded with me regularly, sent me photos, provided advice, and offered help or services wherever they could accommodate. She even reached out to light vendors for us to see what she could find within our budge. There were last minute changes and they were super flexible. I know some of the water glasses didn't get to make it on time (they were there when dinner started though!), but honestly we asked them to bring so many different things it was remarkable they remembered everything else. They seriously provided everything but the food and liquor which was so amazing for someone who lives far away so I don't have to coordinate with a bunch of different vendors. Don't Wait Staff Ready was our one stop shop for our wedding. On the day of the wedding, the staff were super friendly and helpful to our guests. We heard nothing but great things about them. They even fulfilled my dad's request during the wedding!! They cleaned up everything on time and we were able to get our full deposit back. I could never have planned this without them and their help. It was so nice to work with them for all the different services/things we needed and I am so very grateful they took the job. Don't Wait Staff we're absolutely wonderful. Last night was my wedding reception. It was more of a DIY wedding...so no coordinator. I hired 3 wait staff. When they arrived I explained the timeline of events, walked them through the supplies that were avail to them, explained the duties we needed their help with during the reception...they did such a wonderful job of staying on-task. They were courteous to our guests and worked well with our bartender and caterer. And, they even took it upon themselves to help clear up a good portion of the clean-up in the reception hall, before they left. That really saved us a lot of time at the end of the night (when it came to having to clean everything up when our guests left). I would definitely recommend hiring them!

We hired Don't Wait Staff Ready for my sister's wedding. We were having a local restaurant deliver food but needed wait staff to help with setting up, refilling drinks etc. They went above and beyond during the event. I never had to ask them to do anything, before I could even think of what needed to be done they were already doing it. They did an amazing job and really help make the event successful.

I can't thank Matthew and Ramon from "Don't Wait Staff Ready" for making my event a total success! From the beginning, this vendor replied promptly to all my emails and questions. Communication was top-notch. My servers Matthew and Ramon arrived 30 min. early, professionally attired and ready to work. I went over detailed written instructions with them, which they followed impeccably so that I could relax and enjoy my daughter's Engagement Party! They greeted guests, bartended, assembled and re-stocked food, checked with me to confirm that a broiled appetizer was done properly before serving (Thanks Ramon!), and even stayed a bit over-time to break down the party and clean up as much as possible. Matthew always had a smile on his face, and his reply to anything asked of him was "no problem!" It was obvious that they both took pride in their work and wanted to make sure we were happy. My daughter was extremely pleased and her impression was that they went "above and beyond" - and I concur. I highly recommend the servers provided by Don't Wait Staff Ready, and I will hot hesitate to utilize their services again for future events.

This vendor was responsive by email within a day or two, sometimes immediately. They provided a complete quote and acknowledged receipt of client instructions. They were also willing to talk by phone when initially booking the job. I provided detailed instructions by email a few days before my event. They were required to work with minimal supervision - we did not have a day-of wedding coordinator - so the vendors showed up to work unsupervised and were left to start work following written instructions that I left for them in the venue kitchen. The staff was set up and ready when guests arrived. The staff was pleasant to work with. I would recommend.

Bobbie and her team helped me with a party last night, and they were awesome! I'm an event planner and have hosted or planned a ton of home parties where having a bartender and servers make the whole event go smoothly. Bobbie and her team were some of the best I've hired. They arrived two hours early for set up and stayed for clean up. They set up food and pool decorations, answered the door, assisted guests with their coats and bussed the glassware and dishes constantly. They were all super nice and respectful. I booked last minute when another group fell through, and the communication ahead of time was great. I'd highly recommend Don't Wait Staff Ready!
