Double Edged

Double Edged can offer any combination of knife-throwing, whip cracking, fire, and archery performance, both timed to music or without music. When performing without music, the performers provide several demonstrations of each skill, coupled with sideshow-style humor. We are insured through Specialty Insurance.

Double Edged is a danger and impalement arts duo comprised of performers Malcolm Boniface and Alyssa Mason. Malcolm has been a professional knife thrower and whip cracker for over 4 years, and the duo has been thrilling audiences all around Central Florida with their adrenaline-packed performances. Double Edged couples a vintage circus style with modern electro-swing music for a unique experience you will never forget!

A minimum 10 foot by 10 foot stage space is preferred, but this can be flexible depending on the type of act(s) requested. Our knife throwing act typically utilizes an 4 foot by 6 foot standing wooden target, which cannot have any guests/audience seated or standing anywhere behind the target during the duration of the performance.

For acts that require music, we can provide our own audio equipment for smaller events. For large events, it is preferred that audio equipment be available to play music via either AUX or USB drive. We have no specific lighting requirements, however if performance is at night or in a dark space, lighting will need to be bright enough for safe viewing.
