I offer classical guitar music for weddings, receptions, private parties and events, and memorial services. I can add vocals too, and I specialize in the singer-guitarist songwriter songs of the 1970s (James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce, etc)
I also offer Italian mandolin and guitar with my duo partner John McClellan as Duo Romanza.
In addition to the above, I perform on Renaissance Lute, 4-string jazz, and 5-string classic banjos and have a repertoire that spans everything from Bach and Vivaldi through Chet Atkins, Ragtime, Traditional Jazz, and Bluegrass much of which I perform with the McClellan-Back Duo
He performed at my work event, not only was Douglas an exceptional musician, but he was also incredibly easy to work with. Thank you for making our event so memorable!
Response from Douglas Back-classical guitarist:
Thank you, Yvonne! I am glad to know that I added memorably to your event . Best regards to you and your organization.
Doug did a wonderful job at my mother's memorial service. He was present and playing when I arrived for the service and added wonderful numbers while we visited with friends and family. He did a special number, Nearer My God to Thee, that I had requested and it added so much. I was most thankful and impressed.
Response from Douglas Back-classical guitarist:
Thank you Lisa. I am glad that I was able to add to your mother’s service. Best regards,
Doug Back
