For an audience who has never seen a burlesque show, their first is always a treat. You can expected dazzling costumes elaborately created to keep the audience on their toes. The art of burlesque is about the tease and ultimately the reveal so our girls are always coming up with clever ways to keep their audience guessing as they shine on stage.

Our shows are filled with classic music that is period appropriate, usually nothing later that the early 60's. Many of our acts have their own little script and tell a story, while others will excite you with aerial, fire and fans. Also keeping with the class of early burlesque, our girls are polished to a tea.

Drop Dead Dames Burlesque Revue is a classic burlesque troupe committed to giving the highest quality performance. Our revue contains seven different girls, all hailing their own personal talents as well as classic striptease. We can put on a full set show or create sets specific for time allotment. Our girls have a range of skills including tap, dance, fire fans, trapeze, singing, professional pole dancing, fan dancing and of course the art of the tease.

Along with offering performers and a range of length shows, we are also available for private bookings like bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, classes and workshops. Ginger N.Whiskey, one of the co-owners teaches a monthly class here in San Diego for women interested in beginning a career in burlesque. She touches on choreography, costuming, tassel twirling, and specialized burlesque acts.

For shows we are usually looking for venues with a dressing room, although we have the capability to improvise. Sound guys are helpful as well as any lighting.
