In the tradition of legendary blues artists, Dust & Daisies' music is raw and honest, rising out of a past filled with brokenness, abuse, death and loss. But thanks to the love, grace and healing power of Jesus, the story doesn't end there. Dust & Daisies performs live as an acoustic duo or with a full rock band and tours internationally. Their shows are all about connecting with the audience and include original music and their own unique versions of songs by other artists. Their soulful music and engaging live shows appeal to anyone seeking hope, which is why they perform anywhere; churches, prisons, concert halls, homeless shelters, conferences, night clubs, coffee shops.

AUDIENCE MEMBERS - Dust & Daisies' shows are not simply about a great band playing some great songs. They are about a shared experience - the simple, sweet moments that speak to the longing of the human heart; the passionate, soulful moments that echo the cry of the human soul; the incredible vocal range and power of Deb's voice; Rob's fiery and fearless guitar playing; those magical, improvised musical moments that couldn't be planned; the reverent and profound moments of worship. A Dust & Daisies concert is an experience.
EVENT PLANNERS - Whether performing as a duo or with a full band you can expect complete professionalism when you book Dust & Daisies for your event. Our shows are successful because we take our craft and our calling very seriously. Not only do we do all the standard things - show up on time and well-rehearsed, treat the crew and staff kindly, remain flexible the day of the event, etc. - we also do a lot of preparing specifically for YOUR event. We take the time to understand the purpose of your event, our role in it, and who the audience will be. Then we prepare our show (the songs and the order to play them, what stories to share, etc). based on what you need. Then we prepare our hearts and cover the event in prayer.
ABOUT OUR LIVE SHOWS
Dust & Daisies can be found performing in churches, clubs, homeless shelters, cafes, prisons, concert halls and recovery meetings in the US and overseas. No matter the venue, their message and their approach is the same. In addition to their original music, and their moving versions of popular Praise & Worship songs, they’ll often play secular songs with messages that are aligned with the principles of hope, healing, struggle and victory.
Dust & Daisies performs acoustically as a duo, or with a full band. Either way their show can best be summed up in one word: connection. Through their music, their stories, and their onstage banter they build a bridge of connection with their audiences, sharing their hearts and their message of hope and healing in a powerful way.
Dust & Daisies concerts are loose and fun, with the husband and wife team of Rob & Deb Solberg joking with the audience and each other and often improvising musically. They are equally comfortable playing at a pub on Saturday night as they are leading worship on a Sunday morning. Their message doesn't change, and their love for people comes through in any setting.
Deb’s powerhouse, soulful voice and Rob’s fiery guitar playing are certainly compelling parts of any Dust & Daisies show and often get the crowd on its feet. But during their shows they also take the music and the audience out into the deep end, exploring the sacred and the profound both musically and lyrically.
It’s a rare event indeed when you can hear a band whose show includes worship songs like “Wonderful Merciful Savior” mixed with secular songs by artists as varied as Sam Cooke and Alicia Keys. But when you hear Dust & Daises live it all makes sense. It all works toward the same goal of pointing people’s hearts to the hope and the healing that can only come from Jesus Christ.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Dust & Daisies is a Nashville-based band founded by husband and wife duo Rob & Deb Solberg. They have both been on the Sunday morning worship team at The People’s Church (Franklin, TN) since 2004, and have been leading worship for their Celebrate Recovery program since it began in 2010.
Deb has given her recovery testimony publicly many times, she leads a Celebrate Recovery small group, and volunteers at the Williamson County TN Women’s Prison where she teaches recovery to the inmates. Dust & Daisies has performed internationally at churches and concert halls, and makes it a point to regularly play at homeless shelters and prisons. Their music and live shows are all about spreading a Christ-centered message of hope & healing.
In addition to Dust & Daisies Rob & Deb have performed live and in the studio with many other artists including Matthew West, Rebecca St. James, Michael W. Smith, Billy Ray Cyrus, John Elefante (Kansas), The Nashville Praise Symphony, David Crowder and Ginny Owens. And together they make up two-thirds of the John Schlitt Trio, touring internationally with the 4-time Grammy winning Christian rock singer.
