Experienced with over 25 years of close up, strolling, and stage performances, Ed the Wizard blends his unique style of magic with comedy and suspense suitable for audiences of ages. Performance experience includes fairs, town events, birthday parties, and educational programs for schools and libraries.
Ed the Wizard had a great show for the kids that they really enjoyed! He was interactive and included my daughter, the birthday girl, along with many of her friends & little brother in some of the magic tricks. Ed was also dressed in full wizard gear and brought many props that kept the kids fully engaged! It was an AMAZING show and many of the parents were asking for his contact info. I would definitely recommend and refer Ed to others! He’s a character straight out of Hogwarts!

With Ed the Wizard you can expect "Mystical, Magical, Mayhem" for all.
Skilled with audiences of all ages, routines and humor are always age, and understanding level, appropriate. Your patrons are made to feel special and to experience a feeling of awe as magic happens right before their eyes and in their hands. Availability rates range by the hour and day.
I grew up as many folks may have, knowing a few magic routines. Around 1999, having been inspired by Albus Dumbledore form Harry Potter, I decided to follow my childhood dream of becoming a magician. I became a self taught wizard through independent study using library books. I then created "Reading is Magic" for schools and libraries to emphasize the importance of reading skills and what one can accomplish. Today I travel all over the Northeast to bring my unique style of magic and humor to many events such as Agricultural Fairs, Renaissance Faires, Town events Birthday Parties, and of course, Schools and Libraries.
Emphasis is on having fun as your patrons help make coins vanish, read mind, or cut a volunteer in half! When performing close up magic, stage magic, and strolling magic, I use many volunteers; I do not have a "watch me pull rabbits from my hat" style performance.
I am self contained; I have an easy on/easy off stage kit. I require just a few moments to be set up and to exit the stage. For smaller venues such as schools and libraries, I bring my own sound system. For larger stages I plug my mic into your system.
For my walk around a strolling magic, I work completely out of my pockets. No equipment is requires. Every thing that I might need, I bring to my events
