Patricia Faircloth
My passion for weddings and special events started 21 years ago. It was during this time that I put my skills to the test and responded to my calling. I had the experience of planning my very own wedding, to include personally designing my own flower arrangements, my veil, and the flowers for my hair. Hand-made wedding favors require a special touch; I enjoy decorating churches and venues, and I deliver a personal touch on all occasions, that’s sure to leave a lasting impression for your special moment.
As a decorator, I will ensure the only thing the bride and groom are responsible for, is to walk with pride into a beautifully decorated reception hall and gasp with delight as they embrace the moment their vision become their reality. My passion and my very own personal touch, after planning my wedding, led to many telephone calls to plan weddings for others, to include baby showers, parties, carnivals and special events. It was then that I realized I was on to something special. I love themes and tones that set the mood for the special occasion. I am here for you and I can’t wait to make your next event an elite platinum affair.
Weddings: What Drives Yvette
The one thing about weddings that keep me coming back is their uniqueness. When I meet a bride and groom for the first time, I get truly excited knowing there awaits a new adventure. Whether it’s about their culture, family tradition, or their vision, I can’t wait to pull the pieces together the day of. Perfect example, one wedding stands out in my memory, although there are many, but this particular wedding, my bride was Chinese and the groom was Jewish serving in United States Navy. We started off with a tea ceremony for both families. The wedding ceremony was performed outside. The beautiful couple married under a chuppah (Jewish term for canopy) with the Navy honor guard team present. When it came time to dance during the reception, the families from both cultures lifted the chairs in the air, bouncing them up and down, signifying the honoring of the bride and groom according to Jewish customs and traditions, in which the couples were recognized as king and queen for the day. I know this meant a lot to their families, knowing that each of their traditions were not only represented but also well respected.
