(link hidden)y is a new duo made of two of Austin's best musicians - vocalist extraordinaire Lizzy Eidson, and guitarist Jacob Wise. Our repertoire ranges from 1940's torch songs and blues ballads to uptempo jazz, and even the occasional Beyoncé tune! With a vast repertoire of fun, engaging songs, (link hidden)y is a perfect addition to your next event! We've performed every week for the last two years at Austin's fabulous Hotel Granduca, so you can be sure of a classy, top-notch performance. Plus, (link hidden)y can also become a larger ensemble, by adding some of Austin's best jazz musicians to create a trio or quartet.
We hired them for a jazz trio for a light cocktail party after our wedding reception! They were nothing short of stellar. They are professional, and they sounded incredible! We had a great night with them and they helped create some of the best memories of our lives. Don't miss out on them!

Lizzy and Jacob were wonderful for our daytime, outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. They played an awesome mix of mellow but fun music, and also were super accommodating with several specific song requests we had. They not only played the requests, but played them so well - many guests recognized the songs and commented on how great their version was!
Very easy to work with and reliable, we would definitely recommend Elle.jay!!

I was so thankful to stumble across these two via Gig Salad. After listening to so many other bands samples, I was really excited when I heard Lizzy's beautiful voice accompanied by Jacob's awesome guitar skills. They were very quick to respond & extremely professional. I couldn't have asked for a better duo to play music for my father's memorial service. He absolutely loved Jazz & would have loved to hear this duo play live. Highly recommend!
Elle.Jay (Lizzy and Jacob) performed for our wedding ceremony and reception on June 6th, 2020 and were outstanding! The ensemble are each consummate musicians, versatile in their abilities to perform various genres/styles, and professional in all they do.
Throughout the planning process, Jacob communicated in a quick and timely manner, was eager to help create a musical environment suitable for our vision for the overall wedding, and provided great insight and ideas for tunes and musical selections. This was especially helpful, as much of our planning happened during the height of the COVID quarantine, and there was much uncertainty surrounding the performance date. Yet, the group remained helpful and willing to adjust with the fluctuating plans.
Jacob also brought a bassist on board for the reception, and the trio was exceptional. Many of our guests complimented the band, and several music aficionados in attendance mentioned they especially enjoyed the ensemble.
The group also learned and arranged a couple of tunes/pieces that we requested, which made the evening even more special.
I highly recommend that you invite Elle.Jay to be part of your event- you won't regret it!

We have an extensive repertoire of jazz tunes from the 1920s-1950s, as well as classic pop/country/soul tunes from the 1960s-1970s. So if you'd like two hours of classic jazz, we can handle that, and we can also handle a set of pop tunes! We've been playing at the fabulous Hotel Granduca for the last two years, so we know how to present a visually appealing show, with a minimum of downtime between tunes.
Lizzy Eidson:
Hailing from Rockwall, Texas, Lizzy discovered her love for music at an early age. Her big voice carried her to The University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies. Two days after graduation she packed up, moved to Austin and hasn’t looked back. Lizzy has found a wonderful city full of opportunity in Austin, through playing, teaching and listening to music all over town!
Jacob Wise:
An Austin native, Jacob's first inspiration was classic rock and blues. His interests soon turned to jazz, and he earned a master's degree in music from the world-renowned University of North Texas. After travelling the world performing on cruise ships for four years, he returned to Austin, where he stays busy performing and teaching at Austin Community College.
Our requirements are pretty simple! We'll bring our own PA and guitar amp. We just need to be within 10 feet of a power outlet. If we're playing outdoors, we'll need to be in a shaded area.
