I have my M.M. in Violin Performance and have been performing for weddings, bands, headliners, shows, etc. for many years. Genres of music range everywhere from classical, rock, bluegrass, jazz, etc. If you need a small string group from a duet to a quintet I can provide that as well. I also teach privately.
If you are just looking for a solo violinist I also provide the option of electric violin. (My set up is small, I just have a small amp, works for most small to medium sized venues, so I would need to be provided an additional sound engineer if you want something "more grand").
Emily is not only and amazing violinist but a wonderful person. We hired her for our small elopement wedding on 2/14/21 when horrible weather hit Austin and she was the only person that day that didn’t cancel on us. She was dependable, communicated well with us and even arrived early. She truly was the cherry on top of our event and I know for any future needs we will be contacting her. Do not hesitate to book with her.
She is truly a wonderful person and you will not regret hiring her.
Thank you again Emily!
Emily was very professional, on time and easy to communicate with. She even customized the song list to include a couple songs we specifically wanted. She played beautifally and loud enough for everyone to hear; we didn't even need a whole quartet like we originally thought. Overall, a very great experience. Thanks for being so easy to work with & making our special day magical.
Highly recommended - played for my wedding and she did a beautiful job! She was easy to work with and very helpful. You won’t be disappointed!
We used Emily for our Robert Burns Night dinner and she did an outstanding job. Emily arrived early to our event, rehearsed, and exceeded expectations. I requested specific Irish and Scottish violin tunes along with a piece by Mozart, all of which Emily played impressively to a very appreciative audience. Highly recommended!
Saw Emily play at the Crown Uptown, was amazing. Wichita is losing another great musician. Austin will be lucky to have her!!
She played for me and my wife at our anniversary dinner. She was great. Very professional. Very pleasant music. Wish I still lived in Kansas so I could hire her again.
Emily was very professional. She kept in contact with me every step of the way. She is a very talented young professionally that completed our event with many compliments from our guests. She played for my daughter's bridal shower and was well received by all in attendance. She is accommodating to play special songs that made for a memorable event. We are very pleased!
