I'm a French-American Drama Desk Award-nominated actor and composer raised in the mountains of North Carolina. At age nineteen I earned a BA in Theatre and Creative Writing from Bard College at Simon's Rock. I then earned an MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama. My debut album, 'songs with words,' was released in 2015. Based in New York, I've loved traveling across North, Central, and South America, Europe, and the Middle East, including Iraq in 2009, for projects. I play fiddle (and classical violin), mandolin, guitar, and sing songs.
Estelle was hired for a sing-a-long hayride for a Thanksgiving event. Even though not her typical gig she took it on like a pro by preparing samples for review and learning specific songs requested of her. She arrived with her violin and mandolin and a big smile with amazing energy that brightened up the room (and hayride). I recommend her without hesitation for any event wanting talent....and a ray of sunshine!
Price Range: $125 and up.
Gig Length: 45 - 240 minutes
Languages: English, French, Spanish
If I'm not early, I feel late.
When playing solo, my set up is simple. I have an amp that helps me fill a large hall if need be, though I also love the intimacy of small acoustic sets.
Playing live music is a great pleasure for me, and I love learning and writing new material for specific events, so please reach out so we can talk about what you're after, be it a classical wedding set on the violin, a round of campfire folk songs with vocals, mandolin, guitar and fiddle, or a mix -- from originals to country to slavic punk to blues and everything in between.

What she longs for as she approaches each new artistic opportunity is to continue—or begin, is it?—her development and practical education by working on material that feels perilous, unachievable, purposeful, and pleasurable, with inspired collaborators who dazzle her with work beyond her current capacity.
For an intimate acoustic set, I just need a corner to set up and I'm good to go. To fill a larger hall I generally use an amp (and sometimes a vocal mic), so I'd need access to a power outlet, and that's it! :)
