Evan Joffred is a full time professional musician born and raised in Thousand Oaks California. He Specializes in electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, vocals, teaching music, songwriting, and cover songs. He has 23 years of experience performing, recording and writing songs. With 20 years of experience, teaching, and running an independent music school. Evan studied with the top bass and guitar instructor at musicians Institute in Hollywood for 6 years with musical professor Christopher Maloney. He has a long history of playing live music at hundreds of music venues and performing with over 20 different types of bands. Evan can play and sing hundreds of well-known cover songs in the style of alternative rock, classic rock, acoustic rock, funk rock and metal. He has written many original songs and is also the singer, songwriter, guitarist and vocalist for original alternative rock band EXIT 15. He was the bass player for motion picture Fame 2009 and has recorded albums, been in music videos and played bass with different types of bands. Evan has shared the stage opening for many famous bands, including Robbie Krieger (The Doors) Iron Butterfly, Billy Sheehan, WASP, All That Remains, 3 Inches of Blood, Acacia Strain, Great White, YNT, Lynch Mob, LA. Guns, RATT, CKY, Flaw, Trapt, Orgy, Adema, members from Korn and many more. He is currently running an independent music school, playing solo rock shows and collaborating with many other musicians.
