Comedian and Singer-Songwriter Evan Wecksell is one of the funniest and most energetic performers to emerge from New York's comedy clubs and musical venues. Often compared to comedic superstars Adam Sandler and Stephen Lynch, Evan's act is a blend of comedy and music that celebrates pop culture, endorses unorthodox relationships, and makes fun of bad music. Evan has appeared on such pop-culture shows as VH1's "I Love the 80s" and E! Television's "30 Most Outrageous Celebrity Feuds" as well as America's Got Talent, Glee and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Evan is a young veteran who performs over 100 shows every year!
Evan is hilarious and so much fun. I have loved his performances and highly recommend.
Evan is not only riotously funny and musically talented, but has one of those personalities where if anyone didn’t like him, you know it’s the other person. And that personality shines through in his performances.
So funny! So very funny! Talented and clever. Guaranteed enjoyable entertainment!!
I saw Evan play at FrancesaCon in NYC. He was smart and funny and the crowd really enjoyed him!
Response from Evan Wecksell:
Not a good event, a great event!
Funny Evan is hilarious. He writes and performs original material that is downright hysterical. Like laugh out loud funny. He riffs on all sorts of topics: pop culture, sports, the mundane aspects of life, getting older, you name it. And he can adjust and add in material, spontaneously, if needed. High energy would be an understatement. Can't go wrong with Evan!
This guy is AMAZING! Clean and funny!!!!!!
We hired Evan for a comedy event and he was fantastic! Professional, in good communication, and most of all—downright hilarious! The audience loved him so much that we’ve had him come out many times since and it’s always a blast!
Evan did such a great job engaging everyone and working the crowd, and even sprinkled in some musical numbers along the way (sadly just acoustic, no full blown showcases). Would recommend!
I saw Evan in a musical act where he played the Grinch! He was so hysterical and brought things that were familiar and originalness to the grinch. Any time I see him playing somewhere I always try to go. I highly recommend him.
Evan is a really funny, really smart musical act who touches on subjects of the day while also bringing material that is timeless. He engages the crowd and personalizes every show and cracks the crowd up. Highly recommend.

They don't make them like Evan Wecksell anymore.
As one of the funniest and most energetic performers to emerge from New York's comedy clubs and musical venues, Comedian and Singer/Songwriter Evan Wecksell is often compared to comedic superstars Adam Sandler and Stephen Lynch.
Evan's act, a blend of comedy, music and improvisation, celebrates the college experience, endorses internet addiction and makes fun of bad music.
Evan developed his act by studying some of New York City's best known comedians. Soon, Evan was performing alongside some of these very influences including The Tonight Show's Mitch Fatel and Last Comic Standing's Jessica Kirson, to name a few. On his native Long Island, Evan developed a following hosting music nights and playing sets at Governor's Comedy Cabaret, The Downtown and Munchaba Lounge.
After becoming a three-time Long Island Laff-Off Finalist and releasing his live CD, Live at the Bitter End, Evan relocated to Los Angeles in March 2005. The move paid off that fall when he made his national television debut on VH1's "I Love the 80s 3D," and returned to VH1 the next year by appearing on "I Love the 70s II" and "I Love Toys."
Evan's comedy songs also began receiving consistent airplay on various radio outlets including XM, Sirius and the nationally syndicated Dr. Demento Radio Show. Radio favorites included "Recall That Man," a song dedicated to the current California governor, and "Attack of the Cougar," an edgy laugher that coincided with the release of the "Sex and the City" movie. Radio appearances included SiriusXM's "The Sam Roberts Show" and WZLX’s Karlson & McKenzie morning show in Boston.
Evan has also offered commentary on E! Television's "Forbes Celebrity 100: Who Made Bank" and later reprised his talking head role on "30 Most Outrageous Celebrity Feuds." He followed those appearances by flaunting in knowledge of "Terminator 2" on AMC’s “Cinemania."
As Evan's television appearances grew so has his performance schedule. Evan has performed hundreds of shows, including stops at colleges nationwide and a showcase selection for NACA's Mid-Atlantic Festival. He was also selected by Campus Activities Magazine as "Hot Comedian for 2009."
Evan taped Season 4 of NBC's "America’s Got Talent" and soon after worked on his first feature film, "Columbus Circle," a thriller starring Giovanni Ribisi and Amy Smart.
Evan continues to tour colleges, clubs, high schools and private shows year-round. In 2010 he released his LP "LOL" on Uproar Entertainment which coincided with a cameo on the season premiere of Fox's hit show Glee! Evan has began a new passion, audience warm-up, while priming the crowd for Adam Carolla's The Car Show on SPEED Channel.
Evan continues to tour nationally while recording outlandish comedy singles including "The Covid Cure," "Kelly," and "My Fifth Booster." He hopes all his performances can ultimately lead him to achieving one million miles flown on Delta.
