My process goes like this:
1. Consultation - to understand what you want and what your goals + budgets are.
2. Planning - detailed but streamlined spreadsheets to keep track. If you have a task management software that you like, I can use that as well.
1. Venue - limitations, communication, permits
2. Guest list - managing RSVPs + invitation design
3. Food + beverage - catering, menu, serving style, dietary options
4. Entertainment - music, games, speakers

6. Decorations - theme, ambiance, lighting

As far as communication beforehand, I mostly communicate via email so there's always a reference. We can decide the cadence for which we meet virtually to discuss the details + updates. I do like to give a weekly summary of any updates via email.
If you are in the Bay Area, we can meet in person at the venue as well. Ideally once during the planning phase and once closer to the event. The in person meetings/sessions will look different depending on where you live + what is needed for your event.
I have been planning events for over 8 years. I am an organizer of all sorts - I love to create easy to follow systems. I have experience doing home organizing and business organizing as well.
My experience with event planning includes business events, marketing events, weddings, kids parties, dance parties, virtual events and day camps. I pride myself in being intuitive towards what people need and how to create a good vibe.
My events are warm, organized, and a touch of over the top - because why not go a little extra when we are celebrating?
Lastly, I am also an astrologer and can bring that events as a fun add on.
