With six years of experience officiating; I'm focused on providing customized ceremonies tailored to the needs of each unique couple. I offer couples seeking to marry outside of a traditional church settings, another option other than the the courthouse! I offer religious, non-religious, spiritual and civil marriage and vow-renewal ceremonies. All ceremonies are fully customized for each couple. I work closely with every couple that I officiate to create a unique ceremony tailored just for you. Nothing is pulled out of a book or is a "cookie cutter" ceremony, no matter if you are eloping or having a huge wedding with 30 people in your wedding party and four hundred guests!
We booked kimberly for our micro wedding. She was lovely and thoughtful and very respectful of everything!
Kymberly was friendly upon talking with her by phone and was very helpful in providing many written examples for the ceremony. She also gave me suggestions of who to contact regarding a cake and disc jockey. She did a wonderful job guiding us through the motions and everything went so well! I definitely would recommend her to anyone in need of her services!!
I am so happy to have found Kymberly Eiler. She was very friendly and professional. She was very good to send various ceremony samples and everything came together so well in the ceremony
Kimberly was amazing! She was prompt and let us do our own thing when it came to the words during the ceremony. She spoke so loud and clear, without a microphone, and has a wonderful voice. I highly recommend her!
Kimberly was on time even if there was a storm, she is very nice and friendly. She knows her stuff and very professional! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding officiant!
Kym made our day so special! The ceremony was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Everyone at the ceremony said it was the best they've heard. She puts her heart and soul into it. Would highly recommend her to anyone wanting their day special.

Once hired for a wedding ceremony, I begin communicating immediately with my clients via email, phone call, text message, or whatever their preferred method of communication is. I will then ask them to complete an in- depth questionnaire that enables me to get a clearer idea of who they are and what type of ceremony they are hoping to have. A face to face meeting or a teleconference is typically arranged after that; at which time I conduct a further in-depth interview to allow me to get to know the couple better and get all of the details of the wedding, preferences of ceremony, etc. Once this process is complete and the couple has made the decision to book my services; a contract is drawn up, a deposit is made and then, approximately one to two weeks before; a ceremony is written in draft form and sent to the couple for editing and approval. Typically, my clients have a final, approved ceremony fully written at least seven days before their wedding ceremony. My services always include unlimited consultations, a fully customized and personalized wedding ceremony, my travel to the wedding ceremony site, and completion and filing of the marriage license. I am also extremely knowledgeable of Maryland's laws regarding marriage licensing and can assist couples with information pertaining to the licensing process and what happens after the ceremony is done as well.
**REHEARSALS ARE AN ADDITIONAL FEE, PLEASE SEE BELOW UNDER FAQ'S**
Frequently asked questions
PRICING
1) How big of a wedding are you having? A simple elopement ceremony with just the bride and groom and a few guests starts at around $200. Larger ceremonies with full wedding parties and big guest counts can range from $400 and up. I keep my pricing as competitive as possible, but do keep in mind that the larger your wedding is, the more work I have to put into it.
2) Where is your ceremony being held? Fanciful Hearts Wedding Ceremonies is located out of Baltimore County. I do travel to most surrounding counties but anything outside of a twenty-five mile radius is an additional charge.
3) If you are intending to have a wedding party (bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc., then a wedding rehearsal is strongly recommended! This is so everyone is comfortable with what is going to happen on your BIG DAY, and how the processional, recessional and ceremony will all play out. It is very important for your officiant to be present for this! Rehearsals are an additional fee of anywhere between $50 and $100, again depending on the size of your wedding and location.
MY EXPERIENCE
I have married over seventy five couples since starting my business in 2015. I am an experienced writer and am used to being in the public eye with no fear of speaking in front of groups of people. I also am a long time employee of the Maryland Judiciary as a Court Clerk and am extremely familiar with the marriage licensing process and can assist all of my couples with information pertaining to obtaining their marriage license and what to after the marriage ceremony has happened as well. Originally I became ordained in order to officiate for the wedding of my nephew. Once I performed that ceremony, I realized immediately that officiating was a "calling" for me and I wanted to do it more. Which led me to creating my own wedding officiant business. I have worked with couples in all age ranges, religions and races. I have officiated weddings in many different faiths and have married several same sex couples as well. On my reviews page you will find multiple five star reviews from many satisfied clients!
ADVICE TO COUPLES
Make sure that the officiant you are working with is willing to provide sample ceremonies, ceremonies they themselves have performed and can give you references of clients they have worked with in the past. Don't hire an officiant who performs a ceremony out of a book!!! Don't go with a "cut and paste" ceremony, choose something personalized that best reflects who YOU ARE as a couple and as individuals!
WHAT'S FIRST?
The most important details for me that I need to have answers for immediately are the date, time and location of the ceremony. Know if you want a religious or non-religious ceremony, and if you wish to write your own wedding vows. Other than that, I am happy to provide interview questions that will help the couple to determine what sort of ceremony they are looking for.
I do not offer any sound equipment. If you wish for me to wear a microphone during your ceremony, this is something that you must provide and your sound person/DJ would have to configure and wire for me. I also do not offer any wedding ceremony equipment such as aisle runners, gazebos, arches, or implements like sand ceremony containers, unity candles, etc. Whatever you wish to include in your wedding ceremony is your responsibility to provide, but my responsibility to write into the ceremony itself.
