Fields of Heather is an Acoustic Pop Duo who's repertoire includes hits from the 90's onward as well as folk classics and original songs. We are perfect for business events, coffee shops, weddings, and any other event where a full band may be a little too much but where live music is a must!

The crowd was thrilled with how good they sound. The only complaint was no tip jar! Not a joke, I heard more than one complaint about no tip jar. They were that popular.

Fields of Heather are wonderful. They play monthly at Gailey's Breakfast Cafe and we are so glad to have them. If they play a venue near you, you've got to go check them out. Great sound and energy!

They were at Cellar and Plate. My first time at the place and seeing the band. They were ethereal. The Indigo Girls said lightness has a call that’s hard to hear. But I heard Fields of Heather perfectly. I look forward to seeing them again

What to Expect
Fields of Heather brings a unique blend of pop, rock, and folk to the stage with acoustic instruments and tight harmonies. Both members of FOH have both performance and academic backgrounds in music and use their knowledge and experience to arrange their songs in a fun, interesting, and enjoyable way. Where other duos might suffer from lack of interesting instrumentation, we provide a variety of acoustic instruments, percussion, and piano to perfectly address the needs of each song we perform.
We are able to not only play to small crowds and intimate settings, but we also have our own PA system and the ability to project to a very large audience.
About
Fields of Heather is an acoustic pop duo performing hits from the 90's onward as well as a variety of folk favorites. Our lead singer, Heather Visser, has been singing and studying music since before high school and has a background in Choral Conducting and a love for pop and all femme fatale music. Vincent comes from a background of arranging and composing music and brings a knowledge of multiple instruments and genre's to the table to increase the variety and interest of the music performed by Fields of Heather.
Additional Booking Notes
Fields of Heather can provide a PA system with two Mackie 15" speakers. This setup can fill a room of upwards of 1000 people if the need should arise. All we need in order to power our system is a high capacity outlet or two outlets on separate breakers.
Lighting can be provided given sufficient notice and additional compensation to pay for any rentals.
we require a stage at least 8'x8' to accommodate a piano, and our PA and other instruments and amplifiers.

Fields of Heather is influenced by a variety of bands and artists such as The Civil Wars, Hozier, Shawn Mendez, or Ariana Grande in their modern selections whereas their classic tastes range from Simon and Garfunkel to the Beatles, to Folk classics and Bluegrass. These modern and classic inspirations blend to form a uniquely pleasing combination of pleasant yet moving songs. With only voices and a couple of instruments Fields of Heather manages to bring sweet melodies to life in a way that few small ensembles are able to.
