Although there is a distinct contrast between fire and ice these two performers mesh together like thunder and lightning. As the two ignite an undeniable spark creating a shock wave as he rumbles and she strikes the two form the dynamic musical duo “Fire and Ice.” Together they strike a mean cord as did greats such as Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell, Peaches and Herb and as Ashford and Simpson the two are as Solid as a Rock! The modern day duo prides themselves on bringing that chemistry back to the stage that is rarely seen today. Fire and Ice perform at local private parties which include engagement, bridal shower, anniversary and weddings as well as local night club venues.

EXPERIENCE FIRE & ICE
He’s like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. You’re going to need a tall glass of ice water after listening to the cold sounds of Ice AKA “ Reabo.” At the tender age of 12 Ice was first heard singing in the back seat of his mother’s car with his brothers. As she turned the radio down and stated “Who is that singing?” Painfully shy Ice remained quiet until his mother demanded the boys to tell her who was singing. He finally admitted to his mother that it was in fact he whom she had been hearing. Stunned and proud she encouraged her son to pursue singing. Ice’s first vocal performance took place at his family’s church as he captivated onlookers with his powerful voice. As they listened intently they were blown away by the young man’s rendition of “Teach Me Oh Lord.” He later competed in the local school talent show. While still in sixth grade, this is where he first earned the name Reabo after a teacher heard him performing a Peabo Bryson tune entitled “We Don’t Have To Talk About Love”
As a young man Ice took advantage of opportunities to mezmorize his audience with his with a multi-facet baritone and tenor range as he delivers a tune seemingly effortlessly. A hopeless romantic he approaches each note with such passion and intensity known to spark the deepest emotion that could awaken the dead. Destined to make the most die-hard bachelors turn in their players card and fall madly in love.
An avid lover of music Ice purchased his first bass guitar in 1987. Self taught with undeniable skills he joined his first band. He fell in love with the bass guitar and decided to take a hiatus from singing. Ice continued performing with various bands to include having the pleasure of performing with his mother Nella Fowler who was also a vocalist. He later had an opportunity to play for such greats as Gerald Lavert.
It was a chance meeting as he was referred to a vocalist by the name of “Soul” Aka “Fire” who was looking for a bassist for her band. “It was my intent to audition him for the bass spot. I had heard that he was really good. We were going over a song when I didn’t remember the second verse of the lyrics. He began to sing and I was in a trance. I know it sounds cliche but I felt a chill going down my spine as I noticed the goose bumps on my arms. I realized that I wasn’t chilly at all, but it was this dude that was cold as Ice. It was from that point on that I began referring to him as “Ice” I begged him to put the bass down and join me on stage. The rest is history. To me he is the perfect rhythm to a tight beat!”
