Flip Da Skrip is very entertaining. When you go to a Flip Da Skrip show, you have an experience where everyone is involved. They don't just stand on the stage and play their instruments, they involve the audience, everyone is a star!
The Idea Of Flip Da Skrip Was Formulated Late In 2008, But The Group Didn't Come 2gether Until 2009. Drummer AJ Sr. & Keyboardist AJ JR Always Knew There Would Come A Day When They Would Join Forces 2gether Musically 2 Harness Their Unique Skillz.
AJ Sr. Worked In Various Jazz & R&B Bands In The Essex County Area. He Built A Home Studio In The Basement So He Could Work On His Craft Across Many Levels.
AJ JR Had A Mini Studio In The Attic Where He Perfected His DJ, Keyboard, Drumming, & Production Skills. These Took Him 2 NYC & NJ 2 Perform Including Being Filmed As Part Of An Underground Documentary.
Bass Player Jason Allen Was A Newcomer 2 The Scene Who Played With Other R&B Groups. Fate Brought The Rhythm Section 2gether In A Jazz Group, & Then A Rock Group Setting. The Vybe Was Xcellent & The AJ's Knew They Had Found Their "Low End" Brother. Although Mostly Laid Back & Quiet On Stage..., "LE" Can Get Quite Loud 1nce He Gets Going!!!
Manager KBJ Produced A Play That Featured JR's Original Music. Cast Member Tasha Sang The Song & Caused A Minor Sensation. At Ensuing Cast Party She Heard Da Flippa's Jamming In The Studio & Immediately Threw Her Hat Into The Ring As The Vocalist "Ms. Che'..." Hmmmm?!?
It Just So Happened We Had A Show Scheduled We Basically Threw Her Out There 2 Sink Or Swim After A Scant 2 Rehearsals. She Hit The Stage & The Rest As They Say Is History!!!
Ms. Che' Became The 4th Flippa As Her Retention Of Lyrics, Smooth Vocal Delivery, & Engaging Manner With The Crowd Won Us Over Immediately. That 1st Show Created The Unit We Have 2day!!!

The idea gig is to walk into the door and set up. If they have their own sound system and lights it would be great but Flip Da Skript is a self contained band.
