Forte went above and beyond on our wedding day. Not only were they exceptional in their performance, but also, they made a point to play our special songs for us before the wedding when we were doing our sneak peek of the wedding ceremony space - and I was brought to tears. Further, they learned songs for us by request. Highly recommend this group of talented individuals!
Forte Trio played 5 songs as guests were arriving to our wedding chapel, and then 3 songs as the wedding party and Bride(me!) walked down the aisle. The cost was incredibly affordable! We got to choose the songs we wanted, and they rehearsed each song for us weeks in advance -- so we knew exactly how they were going to sound. Our guests RAVED! Having Forte play at our wedding was THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR in making our special day so classy and unique. Highly recommend.
Forte was so great to work with and elevated our wedding ceremony and the beginning of our cocktail hour! They were communicative and responsive during the entire process. We especially enjoyed the consultation prior to the wedding to hear them play and help us pick out our music. We went with the duet option and they had a huge list of both classical and modern music to play. Our guests loved the addition of live music and they really helped to bring classiness to the wedding!

I booked Forte for my wife's birthday. They played on the porch while we ate dinner on the deck. They showed up on time and played a delightful two hour set. It was a mix of classical and pop music, with lots of requests and even some fun experiments.
We had a great time with them, and I would highly recommend them.

SOLO - Violin or Cello
DUET - Violin & Cello
TRIO - Violin, Viola & Cello
QUARTET - Oboe, Violin, Viola & Cello (all string option also available)
All of our prices include up to an hour and fifteen minutes of our time as needed. This is plenty of time for a 15 minute prelude, ceremony and if guests are still present, a postlude as well. We find that most of our weddings fall within this time frame, but if more than 75 minutes is needed, we do prorate in 15 minute increments as necessary.
We DO NOT require a deposit to hold your wedding date. If you are interested in booking us, then I can email our contract. All we need from you is a signed contract (sent upon request). Once we receive your contract, your date will be reserved. Please note that we do not hold dates without signed contracts in hand.
We understand that your wedding is unique and you will be looking for music that represents you as a couple and that will fit the atmosphere of your wedding. Because of this, we offer a private individualized music selection experience for every local couple when schedules allow. Included in our rate is a complimentary music consultation where you can come to one of our rehearsals and we will help you pick out your wedding music. You will get to hear every piece that will be played during your wedding and will be able to make choices that fit you and your aesthetic. We have hundreds of songs in our repertoire ranging from the very traditional Bach and Pachelbel to the more unique tastes of Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Queen. Forte has been performing together for over 10 years at weddings, corporate events, receptions, and other special occasions in the Kansas City metro area. We have an extensive repertoire, from classical favorites and hymns, to popular music you would hear on the radio, and will cater to your individual tastes where possible. From Solo Violin or Cello to a Full Quartet, we are able to provide just the right touch to a wide range of needs and atmospheres.
We do not require any additional amplification for your event. All we ask for are chairs with no arms and if your ceremony is outside, we require a covering or shelter to protect our instruments from sun and other weather conditions.
