Our VIP list (you choose 3) includes African Serval Cub, 15' Albino Burmese Python, Capuchin Monkey, and/or Otter. Our standard animal list (we choose) includes Macaw, Baby Crocodile, Mountain Kingsnake, Mexican Black Kingsnake, Ball Python, Leopard Tortoise, Baby Aldabra Tortoise, Star Tortoise, Spotted Turtle, Hissing Cockroaches, Tree Frog, Giant Gecko, and/or Giant Coconut Crab.

WANNA GET SLOTHED?! We are so excited to announce our SLOTH EXPERIENCE is ready for booking! We guarantee you will instantly fall in love with Gaston! With this being the only Sloth encounter in the RGV this really is a once in a lifetime experience that will have you mesmerized! Not only will you get to interact with Gaston, but your animal presenter will photograph the amazing experience for you. Sloth Experiences are booking now, but on a very limited basis .
Pricing is as follows: $100 per person with a $300 minimum before travel, if applicable.

Our Wild Calls program is a short video chat for families and individuals who want a personal and interactive experience! You’ll meet one of our incredible animals, one of our amazing zookeepers, and get to ask question and get the answers in this conversational opportunity!v

Fragile Planet Wildlife Center is striving to become the next hidden gem of Cameron County, TX. Wildlife tourist attractions can be found throughout the Rio Grande Valley, but Fragile Planet will stand out above the rest. Fragile Planet offers visitors the rare opportunity to get up close and personal to some of the world’s most beautiful species of animals.

Fragile Planet is not a mainstream tourist attraction or a zoo. We are a wildlife center specializing in the care and needs of animals from around the world. Animals arrive at Fragile Planet for a variety of reasons. Once here, they serve a very special role as ambassadors for their species.Your visit will enlighten you on the plight of a variety of species, including those that are classified as endangered or threatened.

Due to the COVID pandemic, we have altered our requirements for programs and presentations as follows:

1. All programs must be outside. If the program is to be held in your back yard, access must be available without entering your home.
2. All of our outreach specialists will be required to wear a mask.
3. All program participants within a 10' radius must wear a mask.
4. Outdoor programs means they are also weather dependent. We do not issue refunds for programs but we will allow you to reschedule for another day.
5. Contact with the animals will be minimal. You may pet, but not hold. Hand sanitizer MUST be made available and ALL parties touching an animal MUST sanitize BEFORE AND AFTER touching one of the animals.
7. As per the state mandate, we will only be entertaining programs with 10 participants or less. If there are more than 10 participants upon arrival, you forfeit your right to the program and/or a refund. No exceptions.
