Classical Guitarist Francesco Barone is a concert artist having performed at venues throughout the Northeast including the CT Guitar Society, New England Guitar Society and The Hartt School Guitar Festival as well as numerous libraries throughout Connecticut. Francesco brings the sensitivity and artistry cultivated as a concert artist to every engagement. He performs weddings and events as a soloist and in various ensembles including violin, flute and cello. He performs a wide range of traditional and popular styles as well as arranges song requests for the guitar.

Francesco was amazing! Of course our wedding fell on the first snowfall (mini storm) of the season. And he called to night before to confirm everything was still on as planned and braved the snow to make our ceremony amazing! I had a surprise selection for the bridal party to walk down the aisle to the Game of Thrones theme song which was a pleasant surprise to the party and guest included. He was always prompt to respond when I had questions and can not give enough thanks making our day so special!
Francesco was very easy to work with in the planning process, had great suggestions for pieces to play, and delivered just as we discussed on the big day. Would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to add a special touch to their wedding ceremony.

We reached Francesco at the last minute to play at our outdoor wedding. He quickly confirmed the arrangements and grabbed his guitar. He was at the wedding tuning his instrument even before I arrived. The music was perfect but my favorite part was the smile on my bride's face. He is a current doctoral candidate at the Hartt School, University of Hartford where he also earned his master’s degree. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Temple University.
