I'm a professional saxophonist and clarinetist with 20 years of experience playing in a variety of events and settings. I specialize in performing as a solo saxophonist and performing with DJs, My performances are tailored to suit your event's atmosphere, whether it is mellow jazz for a cocktail hour or energetic dance numbers for a family celebration or anything in between. My typical set-up and take-down time is usually 15 minutes or less, plus I have the option to be completely battery powered so electrical access is never an issue.
I'm open to travel and I frequently gig in Virginia and DC.

I cannot express how great Fred was at our daughter's wedding on June 15, 2024. He is a master of the saxophone. He arrived on time, set up and was entertaining people at our outdoor cocktail hour immediately. He played the timeless love songs my daughter requested. He was great--he set the tone for the evening. Then he seamlessly moved inside to the ballroom. He coordinated perfectly with the DJ and made all the songs sound so much better. It was like having a live band without having a live band. I cannot recommend Fred enough. I am so glad that somebody gave me a reference to this company so I could find Fred. I have 20 years of consistent performance experience with top 40 bands, jazz bands, military bands, and theme park bands and have performed for several hundred weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, military functions, theme park shows, public, and private events. Venues include hotel ballrooms, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, dance clubs, resorts, festivals, state fairs, civic centers, retirement homes, aircraft hangars, and embassies.
I am able to perform up to four 45–50-minute sets in any location or setting with or without access to a power outlet. My entire system can be set up and taken down in as little as 15 minutes. It is sized to handle most indoor and outdoor venues. Clients may use my microphone to make announcements to guests during breaks. I can provide background music during breaks.
