Front Range Brass

Audiences can expect a traditional performance setting, ranging from brass quintet standards to modern arrangement of popular tunes (including Xmas and wedding tunes!). FRaB is comfortable putting on live, acoustic shows for up to 3 hours at a time, with a requirement of 10 minutes of break time per 50 minutes of performance.

For fans of Canadian Brass, the American Brass Quintet, and the Chicago Brass Quintet, Front Range Brass is a 5-piece ensemble composed of some of Colorado’s best and brightest brass players. Formed in 2022, FRaB took no time releasing their debut performance of Eric Ewazen’s Colchester Fantasy, a very difficult and catchy staple of the brass quintet repertoire. Now, you can have FRaB perform live at your next event! FRaB is available for corporate events, easy listening parties, weddings, and more. We’re excited to perform for you soon!

FRaB requires at least a 20'x20' dedicated space to perform, not to be infringed upon by patrons or other vendors. The floor of the performance space cannot be an outside element (grass, dirt, etc.), as we have musical equipment that must be able to stand on its own reliably, cleanly and safely. FRaB requires 5 chairs be present (we strongly recommend only one without a back, such as a piano stool). FRaB recommends 5 non-wire music stands be present; if 5 non-wire stands are not available from the client, FRaB must be notified at least 48 hours in advance to provide their own music stands. FRaB must have ample protection from any and all elements, including overhead cover from the sun (if applicable). FRaB cannot perform outside in weather under 45°F; if the temperature dips below 45°F at any time during an outside gig, FRaB reserves the right to request a transfer to an inside, heated venue, or, if an inside space is not available, cancel the rest of the performance without a reduction in pay. For night gigs or dark venues, FRaB requires that ample light be provided for reading sheet music; this can take the form of overhead stage lights, 5 respective stand lights, etc.
