Geno received 1st prize at the 2019 International Brotherhood of Magicians youth close-up competition and previously got accepted as a member at the world famous Magic Castle home of the Academy of Magical Arts. Geno Ploeger is a 20-year-old magician. His passion for magic began at the young age of 5 years old. He began working with his mentor and coach, Brian LeBoeuf out of Big Guy’s Magic shop, at age 8. He’s been competing and working professionally since the young age of 10.
Geno was named the International Youth Close-Up Champion at the 2019 International Brotherhood of Magicians competition and the Adult Close-Up Champion in 2024. He was previously named one of the Society of American Magicians Stars of Tomorrow and is a current member at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. In the last few years, Geno has been able to meet, learn from and perform with famous magicians like Mat Franco and Lance Burton. He is committed to paying it forward to other young magicians as he continues to grow. He even received the Bill Cook Award at the Lance Burton Teen Seminar for his Leadership and Community Spirit. He remains very active within the magic community as a member of several international magician organizations that meet regularly.
Since the beginning of 2023, Geno has started live streaming on the TikTok social media platform. Starting at just over 1,000 followers, he has grown a fanbase throughout the year of over 40,000 followers! TikTok has been an amazing platform to showcase Geno’s magic and has brought him many opportunities.
He has performed at the Customer Contact Week gala at the Mirage in Vegas for 3 years in the past which is where he has met so many CX leaders and professionals. When COVID-19 hit, he had to innovate to continue to perform – creating a virtual interactive show for companies like Comcast, Target, USAA, Santander Bank, Salesforce and over 50 more to provide engagement and fun for their teams. He now applies his knowledge and performance experience to create performances for any style of show or event.
In his spare time (lol), Geno studies as a double major in Theatre and Marketing at Arizona State University and even competes on their club golf team as a better-than-scratch handicap!
