Very professional. They started a little early and played a little late.
they mingled with the crowd when they needed short break's. Their singing and playing are spot on. They got the crowd up and dancing and knew how to keep them on the floor. They mostly played 70-80's classic rock n roll but threw in some country and blues upon request. I can't say enough good things about Glen McKenzie and the Road Kings.

I hired Glen McKenzie and the Road Kings to play at Flo Eatery and Wine Bar for a summer event this past weekend, and I must say, we were very impressed. Not only was the band professional, flexible, and easy to work with, they went above and beyond to accomodate for our event. They brought in friends and family, and our crowd and employess of all ages really enjoyed their wide range of great music. Can't wait to have them back. Would definitely recommend them for any event.

If you grew up with good old fashioned rock-n-roll, then this is the band for you! Glen McKenzie and the Road Kings were hired for a 50th birthday party and played exactly what everyone wanted to hear. These guys love to play music and entertain! I think they literally only took 1 break in 3-4 hours. Everyone had a blast and we are looking forward to the next guy in our circle of friends who turns 50 to bring them back for an encore!

They originally had another band booked and when there was a last minute cancellation on the day before the event, they called Glen McKenzie and the Road Kings! Rock and Roll comes to the rescue again folks! We had a great time at this event. I was told that the attendance was 300+ and that lot's of money was raised in the process of having a great time!

These guys were great to work with! This was their customer appreciation party and we set up and played in their warehouse for about 600 people. Although we play lot's of different music from every decade, rock and roll from the 60s and 70s won the day so we changed our set list on the fly to correspond. We had a blast!

We don't wear wigs or spandex(thank God) but are a very entertaining 5 piece band, not Vaudeville but a good ol' fashioned rock and roll show featuring guitars, bass, drums and keys/piano. Our song list of covers are good solid songs that everyone will know but are also songs that are not run into the ground. Please read our reviews. Classic Rock from The Beatles, Stones, Van Morrison, The Young Rascals, Steve Miller, The Eagles, ZZ Top, Peter Frampton and Tom Petty. 80s pop, rock and new wave like The Cars, Cheap Trick and Tommy Tutone. Classic Memphis Soul dance songs from some of the greats like Sam and Dave, Otis Redding and Wilson Picket. Great modern songs from guys like Lenny Kravitz, Matthew Sweet, Matchbox 20, Third Eye Blind and others.
We love all kinds of music. If there is something special that you want to hear at your event, just let us know. We probably know it or have played it before. We can cover almost anything from 50s rock through some modern music.

Glen McKenzie and the Road Kings will provide a sound system at small, medium and even large venues. Bigger shows or festivals with additional acts may require customer to provide a sound system to meet specifications.
