The Grand Strand Band, founded in 1976, has been part of the Carolina Beach Music Scene for more than thirty years. From Newport News to Mobile, and everywhere in between, this nine piece group offers authentic shag music with a dynamic four piece horn section. The band's discography includes releases on It Will Stand Records and Ripete Records from 1981 through 2002.
