I played strings when I was younger and always knew I needed strings at my wedding. We booked Greg and a second cellist through Greg to play, and we are so happy with our decision. Greg is a fantastic musician. He played a custom song list for us at our wedding in November 2020. He was extremely easy to work with, very accommodating to our requests and played beautifully the day of our event. He even played numerous duets with a harpist we hired as well. We were making last minute changes due to certain performers needing electricity on parts of the Performance Trail where Mr. Birdwell was scheduled to play. He was completely accommodating in the changing of his location. Also, he had no problem filling in on a cancellation which offered him two shifts of playtime equalling almost three hours. Greg Birdwell's playing had the tones, pitches and repertoire that gave the visitors an experience of rare standing.

Greg is an extremely talented musician who was flexible and understanding with my questions. He performed beautifully. I feel so fortunate to have Greg perform at this special moment in our lives.

Greg played classical cello during our wedding ceremony and it was better than imagined! Each song was queued perfectly and sounded beautiful. The venue was outdoors and the sound still traveled really well. We even asked him to play a song that wasn't on his repertoire list and he didn't hesitate! I highly recommend him for any event!

Greg and his wife played for our daughter's wedding ceremony. She had asked them to play music in the style of "Two Cellists" and the music set the tone for the ceremony and then they played for an hour during the cocktail reception. Cannot say enough good things about Greg's willingness to come and see the country club before the event, review the music our daughter wanted and their performance the day of the event. Highly recommend them for any event.
