We met Greg entertaining at the beach. We hired him for our outdoor private pool party on New Year's Eve. He arrived early for setup, was very pleasant to all our guests,asked for requests and played/sang amazing music that everyone enjoyed. If you get the chance, I highly recommend Greg for your entertainment. We plan on hiring him once a year as everyone enjoyed him that much.
I asked Greg to play at my Son and Daughter-in-law's wedding reception (at our home) after hearing him play at a local yacht club. He was awesome with a great selection of cover songs/music appropriate for our crowd and the mood/evening. I like that he adds his own style while keeping the integrity of the original artist in tact. He even gave my Strat a good workout later for some fun/entertainment! He was flexible setting up as weather caused us to scrap the outdoor plans and move inside. Having Greg play was a great value for sure. We've enjoyed more of his shows (at Zukey Lake) several times since the wedding. Michigan's loss is Jacksonville area's gain!!

Greg performed poolside at our luxurious apartment community in the Detroit area in 2018 and 2019. We had over 100 residents each year. Greg entertained our residents with a variety of music including Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor and much more. He played requested selections as well as a great variety of his own preferences. The residents loved Greg and I have had many requests for his return at a future date.
After hearing Greg play at our Golf course and banquet center I knew I wanted to hire him for my husbands birthday party! Greg Johnson is a singer-songwriter-guitarist that moved to Jacksonville Beach Florida from Michigan at the end of 2020. He's been performing professionally for the past 20 years and plays a wide variety of rock, country, pop and trop-rock songs that people love. Since moving to Florida he's been playing locally at RagTime, SALT, Margaritaville, The Wreck Tiki Lounge, Southern Kitchen, The Wine Bar, LuLu's Waterfront Grille, Palms Fish Camp, Hurricane Grille Neptune Beach, ABBQ, Strings Brewery, Fishweir Brewery and Jax Craft Beer.
I am fully self-contained when I perform at your event. All you have to do is tell me where to set up and point me to the nearest electrical outlet. I use professional audio equipment and instruments from Mackie, TurboSound, Electro Voice, TC-Helicon, Singular Sound, Boss, Line 6, Martin, Taylor, Fender and Epiphone.
