Alexander (Xande) is the real deal. I've taken lessons from him on caixa, pandeiro, rebolo, and multiple other instruments. I've also attended events where he's led a pagode jam, or performances where he's played various styles of samba. He sings in Portuguese and can lead songs on the cavaquinho. He is a pro at pretty much any Brazilian music style, and he also knows everyone in the west coast Brazilian music scene, so he can put together any kind of performance group. Hire him!
