Husband and wife Pat & Alicia Cummiskey tell the story of the incredible work God did in their lives seperately as they each dealt with tremendous tragedy and heartache. 10 years later when they met they were amazed at how the Lord had been guiding them all along on a path to each other, so that they could go out together and share their experience through speaking and music.

In November, 1994, Pat and Alicia's lives turned towards each other in a way only God could have orchestrated. Alicia's husband suffered a massive stroke in his early 30s, leaving him permanantly disabled. She had two small children and was a stay at home mom. She and her husband had been very active in their church; he as a deacon and she as a singer. How was she going to make it?
At the same time, just a few miles away, Pat had come to the end of his rope and decided to end his life. A divorced father of two, he had spent the last several years playing guitar in bar bands as his addiction to drugs and alcohol grew and took over his life. Left with no home, no money, and no hope, he saw no way out. But the Lord had other plans.
In the 10 years that followed, Alicia went back into the working world and raised her children alone; always counting on God and somehow knowing that the Father had a purpose in store for her life. A few weeks after deciding to end his life, Pat had a profound spirtual experience that would change his life in a powerful way. Suddenly he knew he wanted to live, to be a father to his children, and that God had a purpose for him.
Almost 10 years to the day Pat and Alicia met for the first time and before long knew what that purpose was; that they were to take the word of God, along with their experience, and use it to give strength and hope to all those who were suffering; all those who needed to know that there was an awesome God with a great purpose for each of us, and that no matter how desperate the situation seems, nothing is too big for Him. Listen as they share the power of God through through word and song.
