Helenka is a true Feminine Goddess! She has a warm heart and had fun with my grandma, mom and I on their visit and made it truly memorable! She is classy and knowledgeable about her craft and even taught us a a few belly dancing moves! She has a beautiful story and we are so happy we met her! Would book again! Highly recommend! Five stars all the way for Helenka and her Belly Dancing!
Helenka was absolutely fantastic! From our very first correspondence to the evening of her performance, she was professional and responsive. She provided excellent entertainment for our guests and I would highly recommend her.
Hired Helenka shortly after receiving an immediate response on this website. She provided me with info as to what to expect & made the booking very easy.
I would certainly recommend her to anyone!
Response from Helenka Belly Dance Hawaii:
Joey, thank you for being a wonderful host! It was a pleasure to entertain your event and the great audience!
Price Range: Contact for rates
Gig Length: 15 - 45 minutes
A full length performance of 25 -30 (4, 5 songs) minutes can be expired in segments throughout the evening, reassuring a great variety of entertainment time for possible costume change and props (equipment) prep sword for balancing, tray with candles/tea etc is needed in between the shows. A shorter but also very fulfilling show experience would include a 15 minute (2,3 songs). Both choices include a traditional, drum solo, and fusion piece, if any specific ideas for the last one please let me know, I enjoy dancing in Tribal, Gypsy, Gothic, Flamenco Fusion as well as if you have any props preference.
Originally from Siberia, I grew up with the Gypsy culture surrounding from young age including the typical dance and music. My Oriental Dance experience started in South Korea with contemporary Belly Dance and I got to explore different styles since then, such as Flamenco Arabesque and Tribal and Gypsy Fusion. I currently teach Middle Eastern Dance Art for children at Schofield Barracks and Fort Shafter, and am open for kids class requests for your community and of course life performances.
