This prolific drag performer has 6 years of experience and has headlined the Austin International Drag Festival in 2023, and performed for other main stages like Oaklash, Bushwig (as part of Oaklash,) and the Princess Drag Show at Oasis.

I had an incredible experience working with Hennessy Williams last month at HORSE GIRL, my monthly event in the high desert. I’ve worked with Hennessy over the course of several years, and at this show, like always, they were punctual, prompt, communicative, respectful, enthusiastic, and genuine. Always approaching situations with an air of innovation and with a greater artistic vision in mind, Hennessy is a wonderful entertainer to have on your team - they are a class act, and simply will make your event better. Their high-energy, high-commitment, flashy, campy act that they brought to my show was gauged PERFECTLY for the expected crowd, and it was clear that they’d factored in audience reception, as well as the best way for all involved to have the most fun possible. Hennessy Williams is an Oakland-based Chinese American drag performer who performs as both a king and queen. Their art is versed in storytelling, dance, genderf***ery and queer joy. As a self-taught seamstress and dancer, they often create many of their costumes and choreograph their numbers. They are the reigning Mx. NorCal Quing Pageant winner and the creator & host of ROYALES, an all-BIPOC Drag King show in the Bay. They headlined the Austin International Drag Festival in 2023, and have performed for other stages like the Oaklash Drag Festival and Princess at Oasis.
