I'll try to make this as brief as possible… Our employee party this year had a country theme and I was in charge of finding the entertainment! With ZERO experience in finding a band I searched online and found Gig Salad. I sifted through the country bands and found Highway Starr. Two Words… THEY DELIVERED!!! Not only did they sound amazing, the guys in the band were VERY professional and really nice to work with! They arrived in plenty of time to set up before the guests arrived and had dance floor going all night! They even let our IT guy play guitar on a couple of songs! I would HIGHLY recommend Gig Salad and Highway Starr.
We Hired Highway Starr to play at my Big Five-O Birthday Bash. I'm here to tell ya'll this band knocked it out of the park! We had 130 plus guests, and the band kept all of our guests on their feet throughout the party and wanting more. They rocked us hard! So much, that through out the night, guests were coming up to me asking where the heck did you find this band, there awesome! This band is solid! Each member brings their own specialties. I couldn't have asked for a better night. Now, we’re just looking for another excuse to hire them back for another throw down. I totally expect to be seeing Highway Starr playing in a large arena sometime soon. They’re definitely heading in that direction.

Spawned from the outskirts of Los Angeles, the band features lead vocalist, Daniel Alan along with Dave Rea on acoustic guitars and vocals. The veteran, quick-pickin’, “Uncle Marty” Wagner, rips it up on lead guitar, opposite the rolling thunder of Eric Sachs on bass and powerhouse drumming of Rob Jones who round out their driving rhythm section.
Not just another rehashed “Bar Band”, HIGHWAY STARR has raised the standard by combining the music, attitude and showmanship in their concert style shows throughout the region. HIGHWAY STARR performs regularly at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar, The Canyon Club, Tropicana, Borderline, Brandin’ Iron, Fantasy Springs Resort and endless corporate events. A recent private event for “The Great One” has also landed the band to perform at The Bellagio, Las Vegas in 2015.
