To perform Christian-based instrumental and lyrical music for an audience is my ultimate career objective. To give back to my Lord Jesus Christ in the form of musical entertainment for His people is my ultimate dream.
I perform as a multi-instrumentalist using electronic sequencers and effects with electronic drums, acoustic and electric guitars, 6-string bass guitar, dobro, mandolin and keyboards.

HillbillyGQ BIO
On September 29, 1997, Eric Edwards made the bold move from Pittsburgh, PA to Nashville, TN, where he befriended Chicago-native and bassist Peter Bailey, and soon began a 5-CD recording career as guitarist/vocalist in the Christian rock band '4N'. Sadly, this was also the same time he lost his beloved mother to cancer on June 27, 2000...a devastating loss. December 14, 2003 he was baptized to the Lord Jesus Christ at the Greater Nashville Church, a personal decision that he has never regretted.
After recording the last of the '4N' CD's, Eric began work on his own original CD, but was interrupted by a 18-month touring adventure of the Rocky Mountain club circuit as drummer/backing vocalist for country/rock bands 'Young Guns', '3rd World Party', and 'Whiskey Bay', with a 3-month stint as a house band in Casper, WY. Exhausted, Eric returned to Nashville in October 2006, where he took a well-deserved hiatus from music to focus on his personal life. On January 7, 2007, he was restored to the Greater Nashville Church, and eventually entered the Music Ministry as Drummer, where he still is today. Sadly, again, in early 2009, Peter Bailey passed away due to a stroke, and the following month his beloved grandmother Dorothy Smith passed as well.
As Eric began work on his first solo CD of Christian material in 2009, he was diagnosed with pneumonia, then in 2010 a brain tumor and cyst. After recovering from successful surgery, and with the support of not only his family and church but affiliate churches in Memphis, St. Louis and Knoxville, Eric has overcome many serious health issues.
Eric has since decided to work on an instrumental project. Tracks to be included are: "HillbillyGQ", "Philippians 4:13", "Walk With the Wind", "Resurrection", and the unreleased track from 4N "Godspeed", with the later Peter Bailey on bass.
