Philosophical street musician takes you on a journey with a weird multi-layered backstory that may sound a lot like your own; we start in innocence, pursue love and purpose, get knocked around by life, and try hopefully, in the end, to come off with a solid character and maybe even a little wisdom. I take a few minutes up front to mingle with and get to know your guests. When you're ready, I start with light and fun, go then to slightly serious, and then end with laughter and inspiration. None of songs are covers; just my own storytelling. My intention is to rejuvenate your audience, inspire them to pursue their own dreams, and make them feel ready for their next adventure.
I went to Holly’s backyard event on a Saturday night by myself. She has talent, whit, a great singing voice….
I loved it so much I brought my boyfriend again. I hope she will do it next year. She will not let you down. Holly will get everyone’s foot tapping, people laughing, crying and sometimes laughing so hard you’re crying. Thank you Holly.
Response from Holly Robbins:
Thanks so much, Dena! Such a joy to have you guys there!!
I had the delightful experience of attending two of Holly’s garden concerts! It was absolutely lovely! She has the most enchanting voice and I loved the magical atmosphere of her beautiful garden! Her lyrics are filled with story and a delightful wit! She had everyone laughing and crying in one sitting. I would definitely attend another of her events and invite guests as well! Thank you for the wonderful time! We need more events like this in our community!✨♥️✨
Response from Holly Robbins:
Thank you so much, Mary! It was such a joy to have you come!
To attend Holly Robbins back yard concert is to throw open the gate to the most MAGIC you've had in one pop in well...maybe ever. Immediately you are enchanted with WHO she is. You are gonna laugh and relax and love a new the crazy of the world. Next you are "WOW"ed and DELIGHTED by her lyrics. You will want to scream sing that AGAIN!!! She came to touch Souls with her voice and music --- lives with her love. It was the NICEST evening. I dare you to go --you will leave begging to know when you can come back.
Response from Holly Robbins:
Thank you so much for this, Natalie! I love you! I loved having you in my audience and I love having you in my heart!
I have attended a few of Holly's concerts. Her music is fun to listen to and the stories she tells during her songs are amazing. She is gifted at writing music and very genuine. I love the messages in her songs and the music she writes to go along with those messages.
Response from Holly Robbins:
It was such a joy to have both you and Riley, Dianna! Thank you so much for coming!
Holly provides a fun, entertaining performance of her own songs. Shes very engaging and charismatic and I think she would be a perfect host for a children’s show.
Response from Holly Robbins:
I taught kids for years and they're a blast! Thanks so much for the idea, Grant!
I LOVE Holly! She is the most entertaining performer ever in my opinion because her stage personality is warm and FUN, and her lyrics to her songs are incredibly clever.
Response from Holly Robbins:
Thank you so much for this Liz! You are still invited to come sing with me anytime!

I have found I am no bueno at being mere background music. It's not so much I who want attention, but rather these songs want attention. And they're FOR YOU. They're . . . simple, relatable, experiential, odd, inspiring . . . seriously . . . yes, they are in my own voice, but it's almost more like they . . . just came to me and through me. They comforted me in my loss, they knocked me in the side of the head, they lifted me up, they made me laugh again. And I keep finding this is what they do for my audiences as well. I am INSANELY GRATEFUL to be able to share these songs with you and to experience them AGAIN for the first time through your experience of them.
So CONCERTS with the audience and myself fully present goes best with this set. I don't do covers. You can expect to hear songs you've never heard before. You can expect to understand all the lyrics. You can expect me and my guitar and my sound system and whatever angels see fit to show up to take you on a musical journey. Think of me as your tour guide and I will show you the beauty you have already become and are still yet to become as a wonderful human being going through this crazy wonderful life.
I started out as kind of a magical but pretty awkward kid. In high school, I landed serendipitously into the classroom of the AMAZING Chris Brower at Timpview High School, and it was THE best thing that had ever happened to me because he knew exactly what to do with all my weirdness. Chris further made me realize that I LOVE teaching, so I pursued a Russian and Spanish teaching degree at BYU, and picked up the guitar there as well. Ever since, I have joyfully continued my weirdness and love of learning and performing in multiple classrooms and stages.
In 2005, I fell in love and . . . I lost . . . which ironically made me WIN, because after that, all these songs started pouring out of me, and I have felt a strong mission ever since to share the joy and strange wisdom they brought to me when I needed them most.
My set-up is simple but does require power and good lighting. I have all my own gear. I have OFTEN performed in people's small living rooms and it works GREAT. I have performed in people's large back yards and that has worked great too. I just need to know what to expect in advance, so I'll know whether to bring the heavy artillery or if my little amp will do. Let's talk about it. I want your guests to have the best possible experience and journey.
Kids under 12 tend to need a different version of me than kids over 12, so use your best judgment there.

My musical influences range from Freddie Mercury to Roger Whittaker to AC/DC to Garth Brooks, which tells you absolutely nothing about my sound. So for your reference, I've had people tell me I sound like Joanie Mitchell, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Karen Carpenter, Kathy Mattea, and other female vocalists that I'm not remembering right now. NOBODY has ever said Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga or Celine Dion. I can only aspire.
My intention is always to sing worthy of my songs' lyrics and worthy of the attention and time of my audience.
