Winners of the 2019 Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition, Bowregard, have regrouped around original lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Max Kabat, and Bassist, Zachary Smith to form "Hossback"
Hossback brings an edgy kick to traditional bluegrass with poignant lyrical content and blistering guitar leads from Max, and four and five part harmonies to go with. Hossback consists of Five Award Winning Bluegrass musicians who know how to cater to whatever the atmosphere requires.

Hossback played for our wedding and it couldn’t have been better! They gave us three song requests that they made their own and were great and followed that up with amazing traditional bluegrass music! Our guest were amazed and everyone had a great time thanks to them. Can’t recommend Max and his band enough!
