We can provide authentic Hawaiian and Polynesian Entertainment for an event of any size. It could be a single dancer that can provide hula or Tahitian instruction or a large event with a live band and over 60 costumed dancers. We have beautiful costumes and offer costume changes when more than 1 dancer is hired. Our Hawaiian musicians have been playing Hawaiian music for most of their lives.
We are available for a variety of corporate, community, senior living and private events. We offer a variety of show packages that can be customized to your budget. We can provide fresh flower leis, silk leis or shell leis as well as lei greeters and party supplies and favors.
I have watched this group perform at the Rose Festival and at the Performing Arts Center. They have an amazing group of performers and colorful costumes. I felt like I was in a little piece of Hawaiian paradise as I watched the show. Very professional and lovely to watch.
Lisa and Bree were wonderful! We host a Family Camp every Labor Day weekend, and this year we had a Luau event. Lisa and Bree did a fantastic job performing, getting our guests involved in the dancing, then being friendly and warm in their greeting after the event. I would recommend Hula Halua Ohana Holookoa ANY TIME!
Lisa was cheerful and professional as she taught us how to dance the hula. Not only was it a fantastic workout, but we learned a lot about Hawaiian culture. It was definitely something I'd like to do again.

Hula Halau 'Ohana Holo'oko'a prides itself in being reliable. The musicians usually arrive 1 hour prior to show time to make sure the sound is set up correctly. The dancers typically arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance to check out the venue, make sure their music is set up and lay out their costumes for quick costume changes. Lisa requires everyone to triple check their costumes to make sure they have every single piece.
We enjoy providing a seamless show so when costume changes are offered there won't be any dead time as long as a private changing area is provided that is close to the performing area.
We typically bring thousands of dollars worth of costumes depending on how many dancers we are providing.
We like to make the audience participation piece light and fun for all.
We have taught children for many years and can offer a Hawaiian cultural element with teaching and singing Hawaiian language and songs. The children love learning the Hoki Poki with the Hawaiian body party.
Lisa Chang has studied and hula and Tahitian dance since 1988 and has been teaching in Oregon since 1998. She gave up a career in pharmacy to follow her passion of hula and the Hawaiian culture.
Lisa and Hula Halau 'Ohana Holo'oko'a are very involved in their community and enjoy being a part of the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce. and entertaining the Portland Metro area and beyond.
We can provide the sound for an additional charge.
