The Hunks and Punks Band is a 3 to 9 piece band with a horn section and exceptional harmonies and songs from artists including Silk Sonic, Lizzo, Pitbull, Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars.
Our Band is unique in Ottawa by offering:
1) Song Selection - from our inventory of over 230 incredible songs. .
2) Sound - with mainly full time musicians + male and female lead singers.
3) Staging - you choose the size of the horn section (1-4), number of singers (2-4) plus staging to fit your budget!
4) Satisfaction - we play each event with you in meticulous detail. Please see all the reference letters on our site!
We will save you the HST tax in 2023!
Hunk and Punks were amazing at creating a fun and lively atmosphere at the wedding I attended. Their music was great, but they also brought lots of excitement and energy through their personalities. The dance floor was packed all night, and I noticed that those who didn’t join the dance floor still got to be right in the action because of being able to watch the live band. Highly recommend!
Hunks & Punks are one of the best cover bands I have ever had a chance to hear and see perform. They are professional, talented and so fun! I would recommend them for any event you need a band for!

Hunks and Punks were the highlight of our wedding!!! Super professional from start to finish. They really put their heart into the music and their preference, looked like they enjoyed playing as much as our guests enjoyed dancing the night away. 5 plus hours of super tight sets! Fantastic pricing. Bang for your buck could not get better. We will have Hunks and Punks preform at every party we have going forward.

I hired Hunks and Punks for a birthday party and they were fabulous! A huge song list with lots of options, all upbeat, fun music. Lots of Bruno Mars! My guests had a great time.
Price Range: $650 to $3000
Gig Length: 120 - 200 minutes

Band sets up hours in advance with full PA and light system and sound check. We have options that include LED computer controlled lights, mobile power (for quick set up anywhere), HD video capture and Big Screen projection and much more!
Typically event is five to six person band with horns and guitars, keyboard and bass. Recorded dance music can be provided to keep the party rolling between our music sets. We also offer a full PA with mobile mics for speeches and presentations.
A night of dance music is generally between 45 and 50 songs in three sets and can be supplemented with our cocktail trio/quartet with another 20 songs. Special song requests are allowed if enough lead time (first dance requests, etc).
Black tie attire is an option for more formal events.
The Hunks and Punks Band Inc. is an Ottawa-based Party Band who have been playing weddings, Black Tie corporate events, parties and pubs for over 6 years.
The band specializes in Top 40 Dance, Pop, Disco, Funk and Rock n Roll music - but also offers Jazz, Cocktail, Dinner or Ceremony music with our Trio/Quartet featuring tenor sax, keyboards and upright bass!
The band has three lead vocalists with fantastic harmonies, supplemented with some of Ottawa's best studio musicians and a horn section of 1 to 4 instruments (tenor sax, trumpet, alto sax and bari sax). You choose what you want for your event to fit your budget.
Finally, our Sound and Light Production team creates a great party atmosphere and can include HD video capture, projection on a big screen, mobile power systems (for fast set up anywhere) and computer controlled LED lighting!
We work with you to create a memorable events you will cherish forever!
Band needs minimum 15 feet by 15 feet area and 2 power circuits - or we can bring our unique mobile power station that can power the band with lights for over 20 hours!
Band needs access to event hall four hours before showtime.
