Hello,
Thanks for looking me up! I am creative, dependable, experienced, and fun to work with. My specialties are events and people photography. I have been told that my photos capture people in the most natural and candid way. If you need someone who gets along with all kinds of people and can put them at ease quickly to get the most natural looking photos, where people look their best, I am your man. See why I have been trusted to do corporate events and head shots for companies such as Microsoft and Ballet Arizona. There are 2 websites showing my work. I hope to hear from you, to learn more about your photography needs and how I can help you.
Harrison was so professional and his photos of our event were just beautiful. Recommend 100%!
Response from Hurwitz Photography:
Thank. You, Julia. You were so nice to work with!
We initially booked Harrison to take our engagement photos over 10 years ago. He then shot our wedding, and we loved our photos so much we hired him to shoot my parents' wedding anniversary dinner. We live on the east coast, but each year when we come to visit family, we have hired Harrison to do a photo shoot. He has become our family photographer. Harrison's photos of our family through the years are hanging all over our homcome, and truly everyone who visits our home for the first time compliments our portraits.

You can expect me to give you photos you will love, be a good communicator who is organized, works quickly and efficiently with your people, and makes it fun and creative! I know when to give direction and when to be a "fly on the wall" to get the best candids. My 20 years of experience mean that I will not make the mistakes that a less experienced photographer does. And, you will enjoy working with me.
Growing up in NYC and the metro New York area, I was influenced by the fashions in the New York Times and the music scene in Greenwich Village. I was a psychologist as my first career, but photography had always been my hobby. Hiking and exploring nature are my hobbies, but I don't bring a camera, since I want to fully enjoy that experience without needing to capture it in pictures.
My first professional photo shoot was of damaged cars for a lawyer. It was fun, as each wrecked car had it's own "personality". Little did I know that someday I would be photographing events and people for the next 20 years!
My photography background is varied, and I feel lucky to have had such variety. I have done nearly 700 weddings, photographed for the NYC Chamber of Commerce, have done business portraits for L'Oreal, and covered events for Nike, Microsoft, Coors Brewing, and others.
I also coach some professional photographers, combining my background in psychology with my experience as an experienced pro photographer. It's such a great feeling to see my students prosper.
