I am knocking wood as I write this; I have always been on time and given 100% for each seminar no matter how much I got paid, how many people were attending or where I was presenting. Once I'm hired, I'm committed! I'm knocking wood because I worry about air transportation issues, especially today with all the plane delays and cancellations.
My attendees learn a lot! They walk away with at least five things they can do either in their stores (for my retail seminars) or in their lives/homes/work for my motivational seminars. I consider all my seminars motivational as my goals are to educate, inspire and encourage people to make positive changes in their lives and environments. I love to teach and that comes out in my information packed custom seminars. If I discuss a theory, I immediately give a practical example and application to bring it to life.
I offer written handouts either printed and handed out on-site or emailed. I often raffle off my book "Feng Shui for Retailers." I make every effort to engage and entertain as well as educate.
I've given over 500 seminars and my reviews range from very good to excellent. I can count my bad reviews - there have been 9 over 25 years and I learned from each of them.
I've been told my voice is soothing - which is lovely as long as no one falls asleep. That has happened four times - always in Las Vegas. Twice when I gave an early morning session and twice right after lunch - always a low time for bio-rhythms.
Every seminar is always customized for my audience. I make sure to have photos and information that they can relate to so they can implement the ideas when they get back to their stores, homes or offices.
Three of my motivational seminars:
FENG SWEET SALES: Easy Feng Shui for Retailers (By the author of “Feng Shui for Retailers”) (1 hour)
Feng Shui is more than style; it’s a way of working with space and materials to achieve the best flow of energy in your store, club, office and home. The practice is over 7,000 years old and works with every type of retail space. This seminar focuses on how Feng Shui can be applied in a very contemporary manner to create a prosperous, successful, appealing and healthy environment. Based on the book “Feng Shui for Retailers” by Linda Cahan, the topic will be simplified so that its complicated concepts can be understood and applied easily and quickly in all your spaces. This is a fascinating topic that relates equally well to all the living and working environments in your life. You’ll leave this seminar feeling inspired to make positive changes in your store, your home and office.
