Catherine Pearce was an exceptional Bagpiper and coordinated her schedule to meet our needs in every way. Our family had her attend two different days of ceremony . The first was to play for my husband's burial service at our cemetery in Lincolnville , Maine. The second was to play the next day at a Celebration of his Life in Rockport, Maine. We were blessed that she was available for both days .... and working with her in the planning of songs to be played , along with her suggestions , made our two days complete. She was outstanding.
Catherine did a splendid job. I was not there but she executed all the details perfectly. And was in my budget.
Response from Irish Hills Bagpiper:
It was an honor to play for such an special event! Thank you, Catherine
lively fun professionally done
Catherine was such a pleasure to work with. She contacted me within a half hour of me taking a chance by putting my information on line. She was so kind and caring and knew every song I requested. Her presence at my 91 year old fathers funeral with full military honors made the day very memorable.
Irish hills bagpiper did such a beautiful performance and she was great to work with.
I couldn't possibly be more pleased, impressed, and great full for such an outstanding performance at a Sombre time. My grandmother was looking down all smiles I'm certain.
Catherine played at a dual memorial service for my parents. Her playing was truly lovely and really brought the ceremony together in such a moving, magical way. She was very empathic, professional, and a great communicator. I appreciated her working with me to select three great pieces. I highly recommend her; she was a delight on an otherwise hard day.
Catharine was wonderful! Everything went without a hitch and her music and presentation was superb!
She was amazing. Very professional and so kind. I used her for my grandmother's funeral and I am so releived that I did. She made a painful moment in my families life easier by providing the music my grandmother loved and added a song of closure that we would not have thought of. I highly recommend her to anyone!!!!
Catherine was perfect in every way. Quick response. Quick confirmation of a confused patron's request (There are a few too many emails with gig mash.)
Perfect costume and demeanor. Perfectly patient through the flag ceremony and the playing of taps. Perfectly edited "amazing grace" and perfect choice of exit song. All through a movie perfect drizzle of funeral filled with sadness.
She was one of the few times an unknown performance has exceeded my expectations. This woman is sensitive to her audience and is one of a kind.
She was the best.

Catherine played beautifully at a good-bye for my father. We will never forgot it.
The ultimate in surprise. . . To hear the unmistakable tones of the pipes gently floating on the cool morning air was magnificent. But the icing gracing the cake was the piper atop a cliff out facing the lake.
Price Range: $175-$600
Catherine arrives early, is extremely professional and will be flexible to accomdate for changes in schedules and planning.
